Great For Readers
Got this for my daughter as she has trouble with reading comprehension and I wanted to help her with it. She loves it! This is a fun way of gravitating her into the story and not to just read, just to be reading; but more of understanding what the story is about, who are the characters, what can you take from this book, etc.I would advise teachers to get this for their classroom as they may do story time or something similar.

Different types of questions
These add an element of fun and chance to a literature discussion. The questions cover the basic elements of story that are taught in elementary school: character, setting, plot. I like that some of the questions are low level comprehension (What happened at the beginning?) and some require deeper thought (Which character do you relate to the most?). As a teacher, you have certain goals and questions to ask about a story. But these allow for student participation and gamify the other questions because they don't know what question they're going to roll. These are not only good for talking about a story, some of the questions are good for creative writing.Good for a whole class or small group. Keep in mind these are for literature, not informational text.

Awesome product for practicing reading comprehension
My daughter loves this. She struggles to comprehend what she reads so she cannot effectively read independently and I cannot always sit and read with her when she wants to. The prompts on these dice help her think about what she has read and also add an element of fun. They are safe and soft. They were bigger than I imaged they would be, each is the size and texture of a stress ball- in fact they could double as stress balls. They come in a little clear carrying bag with a snap. I did notice some minor flaws in the pad printing of the text on the dice and also some flash on the edges of the dice- however the text is all still clearly readable and the flash is not sharp so it does not cause any functional problems. All in all these are great! Very fair price as well. I highly recommend for elementary, middle and maybe even high school students to help them think critically about anything they read in a fun way.

A teacher’s must-have
My wife is a teacher and she uses these cubes. Here is what she has to say about them,“Reading Comprehension story cubes are a teacher must-have. They can be used to help students review plot elements, point of view, inferences, character traits, summaries, and so much more. The cubes can be used with any book- fiction or nonfiction! They are perfect for small groups, learning centers, tutoring, whole group review or remediation lessons. Take it from a literacy teacher your students will love these and you’ll love how easy they are to use.”

Awesome Teaching Tool
These dice are perfect for reinforcing reading comprehension. When I read a story to my class, I always ask these questions. Rolling the dice instead of the teacher asking the questions is much more motivating. They are brightly colored and the perfect size. The print is clear and easy to read. They are a wonderful teaching tool and help promote class discussions about stories that we read. I love that they aren't specific to any type of genre or story so they can be used with virtually any story. They work best for fiction and realistic fiction stories. They can be used for many different ages as well. This is such a great interactive activity to do in school. It would also work well for parents. Parents can read stories with their children and have them roll the dice to answer questions. I absolutely love these dice and would highly recommend them to others.

Very cool tools for teaching.
As an ELA/ESL/ABE tutor, I'm constantly looking for things that I can use to help me help my students better with their educational goals. I found these "dice" and thought what a clever idea. Let me give these a try. They are huge! (pencil next to one of the dice for scale) They're also squishy, so for a fidgety person with crippling ADHD, I can just squeeze and squish these to keep my hands busy. I can also use them for when I'm working on my own writing projects and what have you.. Each of the dice has things to assist in critical thinking, connecting with the reading assignment(s), and help with focusing on specific points in the assignment(s).

Perfect Teacher Gift!
What a great gift to give to your kids’ teacher! Maybe for teacher appreciation or to include in a gift basket. It’s one of those supplies that isn’t easily found at any store, but more found at a special learning store. And those items are a lot pricier than a stapler or highlighters that usually the district has in stock but these items you know that the teachers are purchasing themselves. What I like about these is that you are able to separate them for breakaway groups but still having variety for the students to discuss and learn. Rotations will allow them to see other questions in other groups as all of them have different discussion topics.

WHEN I READ ‘4 LEVELS,’ I DIDN’T KNOW THAT MEANT ONLY 4 CUBES!
This Interactive Reading Cube Set was so cute when I saw it, and the questions were so on point for questions that would be asked during a book club discussion, I just had to get the set… but not for a child, for me!When I opened the package and saw that there were only 4 cubes, with 6 sides/questions on each, I was let down. I wanted more of these colorful cubes. This cube set is for kids and adults, and as I mentioned above, would be great lead-ins into books being discussed in book club discussions. They are soft and a bit squishy (which makes them fun), and if you throw them at someone, they won’t get hurt. For $11.90, you’re getting a good deal. I still wish there were more cubes, but, I’m recommending these; Moreso for adult readers!
