Love it
As a smart home enthusiast I wanted a sensor that would turn on my hall lights when I opened my lounge door. This one was the cheapest I could find on Amazon & works a charm.Yet another app to install, in this case LinknLink. It was all easy enough, the app found the sensor straightaway & easy enough to link the app to Alexa & be able to control routines. The device itself is fairly cheap looking & requires USB power. I put mine approx 1.5 meters outside my lounge door. I find a lot of the time it will pick up the moving of the handle, the door opening & the lights will have switched on before my physical body is in the sensors range. As it worked so well I bought another & this one is setup to turn my office light on, again the sensor works perfectly & picks me up at about 4 - 5 meters away. There can be a delay in routines running but so much of this is down to the home network, internet etc.So great devices, I recommend.

Works as described - no hub needed
The setup instructions look a bit complicated but are easy to follow if you take it steady. I was up and running in 15 minutes. Make sure that your wifi is running 2.4 only as otherwise you might run into problems. The app that you need to download for setup is ok but once I had linked the device to Alexa it is largely redundant. I use the device to switch on lights (via an Alexa comparable plug) whilst people are in the room. If no movement is detected for x minutes the lights go out. All easy to set up in the Alexa app.The detection range seems fine and quickly picks people up in our kitchen which is around 5 metres square even though, to keep things tidy, the unit is in one of the corner cabinets. It’s early days but there is nothing to suggest that this handy little device will not continue to work as it should. I have taken one star off the rating as you do need to bit a bit familiar with setting up devices like this but otherwise no reason not to buy.

Rubbish short range PIR
The MQTT stuff is really nice to see - homeassistant integration great. Actual sensory is a lemon - it's convincingly beated by the Xiaomi battery powered ZigBee PIR sensors, which have identical detection albeit with much better range than the linknlink.

Highly Reliable Motion Sensor for a reasonable price.
The LinknLink eMotion Wi-Fi Radar Motion Sensor is a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. It’s incredibly reliable in detecting human movement, with excellent sensitivity and accuracy. Easy to set up and use with Alexa. The Wi-Fi connectivity ensures consistent performance without additional hubs. It’s versatile, allowing for advanced automation like turning on lights or triggering alerts.Overall, this motion sensor delivers top-notch performance and value.

It Works Perfect In The Car
I purchased this to use in my car and it appears to work perfect. As I do not have a permanent power supply in my car, I use a 6v battery box with a usb output and lithium rechargeable batteries which lasts for over two days with no issues. If anybody comes near my car it notifies me on my echo and I get no false notifications unless the batteries are running out. The key thing is to have two sets of batteries and change them before they run out. It does not work with power banks as they shut down, probably because the sensors don’t use a lot of power. It is a perfect solution if you park within range of your Wi-Fi router.

Too slow!
After seeing a demo & recommendation by a famous Youtuber (mmm?) I decided to plump for it. So, after a 2 wk wait, was keen to get it going. Setup was reasonably straightforward ( tho' these days I do have my doubts about cloud-based gadgets & the details you have to give out in order to get them going). Reaction time in combination with an Alexa routine was way too slow for turning a light on, but particularly for turning OFF. For whatever reason, it was too slow if at all, in some cases - this was the deal breaker but Amazon was good in handling the situation...better now than they used to be!

Ok sensors for price.
It’s an ok mmWave sensor. I’ll post about downsides, as I’m sure other people spoke about the upsides.1. Even though it’s a mmWave it relies only on the motion detection and not on presence detection. Why?2. Even if the modbus and mqtt should be local, ( not sure as I haven’t test it without an internet connection) still need the app and an account to set it up. Why? A simple webpage to connect to and setup either would be more useful for local control.3. Limitations on how to setup the detection:Sensor has only reactive timers.Overall, it’s a good sensor, could be better with a few firmware updates.

It was not easy but works great
Many trials after y works with the App.Connection to Home Assistant is quite complicated it doesn't have an integration.Linknlink support was very good they help me to connect it to Home Assistant using MQTT directly.Once connected to MQTT it works very well. It is incredible how fast is the detection and how wide is the range. It detects at 170 degrees and 4 m (12 feet) distance), maybe works further away I didn't test it.After the initial difficulties I am now very glad I bought it. !!!!!
