Works Great for Me
Ordered this to keep in my office, so I can see the temperature and humidity when I’m not there. I have machinery that is delicate. This little device works good for me. So cheap I would just buy another if it stopped. Going on 8 months and the battery just now says low. Keep in mind, wherever you are going to leave this thermometer, there needs to be 24/7 WiFi. I thought it was easy to set up and the app is straightforward, but if you’re not tech savvy it may be challenging. There is also a delay in communication usually 1-2 hours behind the current hour of when the thermometer readings update in the app.

challenging setup, i liked them at first. HORRIBLE i repeat HORRIBLE battery life.
recently purchased these to monitor temp and humidity in two rooms of my home. very small and sleek look, they even include double sided tape to mount the sensor. app is ok, but could be better. these run on 2.4GHZ networks only. took several attempts to get them to connect, but once connected, haven't had any issues. by default it displays Celsius and Not Fahrenheit. I really wish all products marketed to the united states would just do away with Celsius.. it's really useless unless your outside of the united states. sensors run on TWO AAA batteries. looking forward to seeing how long the batteries last. you can even set up alarms for certain thresholds. time will tell. sensors were cheap enough, so we will see.update 10/22/24** i have a total of 3 of these, all work perfectly, however one sensor seems to constantly give me low battery warnings after about 5 weeks or so, i suspect that the sensor may be bad, but i just ignore the warning and i will replace batteries when it finally stops working. other than this slight drawback, it still reports the temprature perfectly.update 12-22-24**these work well, but are battery hogs, seems like the most i can get out of the batteries is give or take 2 months, really disappointed with the battery life. they are accurate and i can access when not at home (via wifi) but the battery life leaves alot to be desired.HORRIBLE battery life- i would really avoid these sensors. they just simply go through batteries too faast.

Works only with WiFi, not suitable for travel
This is a WiFi based sensor, not working with blue tooth. Google home/ Smart life recognizes it well. Easy to setup if you are looking for a WiFi only sensor. I was looking to use during travel, which can not be done if it is not Bluetooth compatible, disappointed in that angle.

Reports hourly only
There must be a reason we do not see many wifi temp sensors. Short battery life and update every minute -- or long battery life and update hourly - and that is what we have here. I think most people want a temperature sensor to see a current temp, not one from an hour ago. Also with a focus on automation, we want to trigger an action based on a current temp, not wait an hour before doing something.Device is easy to add to smart life and it will populate into other services. device comes set to C, and in the app, device set, can change to F -but- you then have to push the button inside the sensor and wait an hour for the next update, that will be in F.So - in some cases an hourly update is sufficient - and for others it is not. I would love a configuration choice here, maybe a future product update. Meanwhile, trying to think of where these could be if some use, cannot be used for my planned intent to trigger action immediately after exceeding a threshold. Hope this helps.

This alarm has saved me a flood in the basement several times. Extremely sensitive with no false alarms.

No connection to Alexa
The product works well with the app. However, there is no connection to Alexa. I'm very disappointed as this was the main reason I selected this product. I hope that they will correct the software so we will be able to ask Alexa to report the temperatures. The humidity reading does get passed to Alexa, but you cannot create a routine where you can give a voice command and get either of the values. I am also disappointed that there doesn't seem to be any way of contacting the manufacturer about this problem.
