Installed and tested unit. Only replacing head due to end switch not working on previous. Tested before I installed it due to some of the negative reviews. But all is well and working perfectly. Now installation. It took me longer than it should to get the head to seat. In my case I had to open valve and actuator and it popped right in. Just a tip.

Reasonable price (a third to a half less than the store quote), fits well, and is working great so far. It's been a few months and (based on my technician's comment) I expect it to last just as well.

not an amphenol product. Screws on terminal board have narrow heads .Wires cannot be fastened securely or not at all with insufficient diameter. Had to add washers to mount wires.Unit did not actuate the valve when first energized. Had to loosen mounting screws so the unit would self align.I am not sure it will work reliably as time goes on because of the loosened mounting screws. I would feel better if I got some monetary compensation.

When none of the HVAC shops in our area had any on hand, I found I could get this quicker than ordering it through them. It came in a few days and took about 20 minutes to install. Good idea to take a photo of the old wiring before putting in the new unit. Also, you want to set the manual lever to "open" before placing it on the valve. Then release it to the auto position. It works just like the original. We'll see how long it lasts, but even the originals wear out (this is the second unit I've had to switch out over the last 5 years.)

The zone valve looks in every way like the Honeywell Zone Valve that it replaced except for one: It doesn't have the Honeywell part number or the brand "Honeywell" anywhere on it. I suspect it's a clone.HOWEVER, I installed it anyway and it worked perfectly. What can I say? Does it need to be an actual Honeywell brand? Maybe not, except it may have been falsely advertised. But if it works If it continues to work for an expected lifetime, I'll be happy with it forever.

i bought two of these ... the first one did not work. This one is still working after a few days.One mounting screw was too long ... all the electrical contact screw heads are half the area (size) of the Honeywell units and almost impossible to use.. I had to install "D" type connectors and even then they barely would lock onto the contact screws.Very disappointed in these .I would never buy another Honeywell knock off - buy the genuine Honeywell as you can rely on a much better quality actuator.
