Very good blue tooth wireless mouse
Needed the USB-A port on my HP laptop for something else so needed to eliminate the wireless mouse. This one from HP is a great replacement for the one I have been using. It actually is slightly better ergonomically than what I have. A bit longer so it is more comfortable to use. The click on the left and right buttons is nice. Scroll wheel works great is nice and smooth. Has two buttons on the left side that shift right or left on the screen. This is proving very useful as well. Runs off 1 AA battery and a Duracell is provided. The instruction sheet is mostly pictorial and I found several of them a bit confusing but mice aren't complicated so no problems there. Pictures show to turn on blue tooth on the computer then press the button on top of the mouse for 3 seconds and it will pair with the device. I am running Windows 10 on an HP laptop and that didn't work. I simply started Settings, selected blue tooth section and clicked on the connect a new device button. After a few seconds the mouse was shown as an option simply clicked that and it paired no problem. Nice smooth motion on the mouse so works quite well. The various buttons can be programmed for other tasks but you have to download the software from HP's web site. I wasn't interested so haven't done so so don't know how well all of that works. The mouse has the capability to be paired with up to 3 computers and selection is controlled by a button on top of the mouse. I don't need to pair to other devices so haven' tried it but the button is conveniently located.Highly recommend that you consider this mouse if looking for one that uses blue tooth.

Effortless Set-up: HP Bluetooth Mouse Makes Clicking a Breeze
I recently bought the HP Bluetooth mouse to pair with my new HP laptop, and it’s been a seamless addition. No dongle needed; it paired effortlessly via Bluetooth. The mouse fits comfortably in my hand, making long hours of use feel effortless. What I love most is its versatility—it works perfectly on both hard surfaces and softer ones, like the armrest of my recliner. This means I can stay productive or browse comfortably, no matter where I'm sitting. The precision and responsiveness are top-notch, enhancing my overall experience. The sleek design also complements my laptop beautifully. This HP Bluetooth mouse is a fantastic blend of convenience, performance, and style. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a reliable and stylish pointing device!

Easy to Setup and Use Bluetooth Mouse
The setup was straightforward and quick, thanks to the seamless Bluetooth connectivity. Pairing it with my laptop took only a few seconds, and I’ve experienced a stable and reliable connection ever since. One of the standout features of this mouse is its ergonomic design. It fits perfectly in my hand, providing comfort for extended periods of use without any strain. This is particularly important for someone like me who spends hours at the computer daily. The mouse is lightweight yet feels sturdy and well-built, giving me confidence in its durability. The precision of the HP 4200 is also impressive. The high-resolution sensor ensures smooth and accurate tracking on various surfaces, making my tasks more efficient, whether working on a document, browsing the web, or engaging in detailed graphic design work. The responsiveness is top-notch, with no noticeable lag or delay.

Not very happy with this one.
I'll start with the pro. Key travel is good, and it's not loud. For the cons:1. It's mac layout. Being an HP keyboard I expected that yes it would work with mac and other Apple devices but that it would be a bit more Windows forward as it relates to the key placement. But instead, the Windows key and alt keys were reversed in their placement, similar to how it is when running Windows on a macbook. This was not at all to my liking.2. Pairing is a pain! I've used other bluetooth keyboards that paired with no need of a code. Problem is, as a screen reader user, my screen reader was NOT reading the code, so for the life of me, for the longest time I could not figure out why the thing wouldn't pair.3. No page up, page down, home or end keys. Even on many compact keyboards that don't normally have these keys on the keyboard itself, they can still be used by pressing fn and one of the arrow keys. Not with this one.4. FN lock doesn't stay on when you turn the device off and back on. I will quite litterally never use any of the hotkeys a lot of these manufacturers are wanting to program in place of standard function keys. However, I use standard function keys all the time! I found it rather annoying that fn lock would shut off any time the keyboard was turned off to save battery. So, what would end up happening is that I would turn it on when needed, then go to press a standard function key combination like alt f4, and instead of doing what was expected, it would do something completely different, whatever was assigned to that key unless fn was used to make it a standard function key, but having to add fn to already well known key commands can be hard, and make for some rather unusual and uncomfortable finger contortions. Would send this back but unfortunately before I discovered all of this, I made the mistake of throwing out the box.
