Good Value for the Money.
Always liked the Nespresso idea but was not a fan of the espresso produced by their branded capsules or of the price of their machines. When Peets started making Nespresso (original line-compatible) capsules, we finally looked seriously at getting a machine and were attracted by the price of this machine, its small footprint and generally good reviews. We figured the risk was small at this price point. So happy we went for it. The machine is so simple to use and easy to clean. Yes, our semi-automatic espresso maker with freshly ground beans will produce a better cup, but a lot more skill, work and mess is required to get that cup. Now that we've finally found some tasty capsules on the market, the resulting cup is quite good enough, especially given the convenience factor of this machine. The machine itself seems sturdy and well-designed, and it's fairly quiet (especially compared to our semi-auto). Delivery was prompt. No regrets going with this non-branded machine. In fact, we liked it so much we got a second one; so far, both are working like a charm.

Love this!
This is my first capsule espresso machine so I don't have anything to compare it to. I already had some capsules that I had gotten by accident so I decided to just get a machine rather than find someone to give them to. I'm glad I did. I really enjoy Americanos so making them in this is really easy. Just fill the water tank, put the capsule in and push the lever back to get it to warm up. Once that is done, move the lever to the desired amount and you are done. The machine is a little noisy but not so much that it wakes anyone up. It doesn't take long and is really simple. Everything turned out perfect. So much so that I went out and stocked up on capsules because I plan on using this a lot.

Great performer, odd shape
This is my first nespresso-type machine (and first espresso machine of any type), so I can't compare it to others on the market. But I can say that it works very well and is simple to use (and simple to clean). I've only had it a couple of weeks, so can't comment on durability (although it seems to be very well-built). The only potential downside is it's narrow, elongated shape; that might actually be a benefit, depending on the design of your kitchen, but it doesn't work so well in mine. I tend to swing it sideways against the wall when not in use, which isn't exactly a major chore. All things considered, this machine is a bargain.

Best you can get, great machine
Not the original but not far off in quality at all, they did not cut corners manufacturing these and it certainly works well. Extremely easy to use, the ability to pour in the amount of coffee you want with the sliding handle with a single finger is just amazing by design. It shows how overpriced Nestle machines are. I always used dolce gusto because I could do both coffee and espresso, not in the US market anymore and my Esperta broke. Never made the switch because I also drink coffee, Nespresso machines are simply not good for anything other than espresso. This one almost bridges that gap, wish it was taller to fit larger recipients under but I have been able to work around it. They probably chose not to move away from the Nespresso machine look and size, but they should have, you can make larger cups with this like Dolce Gusto ones do.

Not a suitable replacement for a real Nespresso machine
This was meant to be a short-term replacement for my real Nespresso machine, but we can't even use it due to the extreme poor quality coffee it makes. We don't want to waste our Nespresso pods in this machine. I don't think it is capable of producing enough pressure to make a good cup- it tastes very weak- and that is using the smallest setting. It is very easy to use- I have to give it credit in that regard, and if you don't mind very weak coffee, it's much cheaper than a real Nespresso machine.

good idea but not great
I would get coffee grounds, sometimes, coming thru. that was what made me return it.it seemed like a nice unit overall; I liked the variable time knob in the back.

Scalding hot; burnt taste
The machine was good for about 6 months. Around the 7th month, every cup of espresso stated tasting burnt and I noticed that my machine was emitting steam. I descaled my machine multiple times, and am still encountering the same problem... Also, the machine and espressos now come out at scalding hot (seriously -- burn your hand from even touching the cup). It was good for the 6 months, but that was it. With that being said -- if you need a temporary espresso machine for a short period of time, it's fine (affordavble), but don't expect to be able to use it for much longer than that.

Works very well, for over 4 years
We bought this machine in October 2018.It works very well still, after over 4 years. It is a bit noisy but makes good Espresso.Once you turn it on, it heats up in about 25 seconds. It is also very easy to clean. No burnt coffee, no issues. We found out that the original Nespresso capsules have the best coffee, but they are expensive.
