A little difficult to install but it's doable. Afterwards it looks stock and operates perfectly. I'm very pleased.

I didn’t keep it for longer than an hour before returning it. I opened the box excited to escape the desert heat of 110+ weather but this cover is just terrible quality, i’ll have to keep shopping around. When I first opened the box and unfolded the cover as instructed on the manual I noticed 1 half of the sun cover was slouching.I turned out somehow half of the chords that assist the cover in sliding through got tangled in the device. It took me about an hour to untangle it and get the cover back on its track, and even after fixing it, I noticed the cover slouched on the sides providing no complete coverage from the sunlight if I was to install it.I wasn’t going to waste my time putting it up just to take down off my car so instead of even bothering I just returned it, and I’m glad. Inspecting it all on closer look, it seems VERY cheaply made. Silicone holding pieces together, vinyl covering is falling off of the track where it was half assed glued together.I could make it work if I glued it myself and put some extra work into gimmicking it here and there, but what’s the point of even spending $200 on this then? I might as well just make one myself at that point.Amazon should be ashamed for allowing such cheap Chinese made vendors so sell poor quality products with little to no quality checks. It’s starting to feel like eBay before the great downfall.

Model purchased/delivered different from instruction video which showed rotating clips for rear as in front-model shipped had two non-rotating clips inserted under head panel then screwed through frame sides into clips-cannot be done by one person! I bought this model because the sliding panels looked better than more expensive model. Had I known model was different in this respect, I would not have purchased from this distributor, would have gone with more expensive competitor with the four rotating clips for ease of installation. I was able to screw one of these side clips onto frame and insert, but other one had to be done by inserting clip into head panel, then push up on frame to align with screw hole, takes a major amount of upwards pressure to get clip aligned, so definitely need 2 people, to be able to align and screwed in. Front went in OK but plastic tool to release head frame needed to be inserted at rounded corner to get leverage. Also, the front sliding frame easily gets out of alignment as you get front clips in, so make sure front slides as designed before you install the rotating clips, otherwise front portion will not slide and you will have to uninstall front, align mechanism in order for proper operation. Took me 2 1/2 hours, with some help from spouse, and having to reinstall front after having tom realign front sliding mechanism. After all this nonsense, works well so far (1 day), car seems cooler, and looks good, fit and finish are good.

Easy to install. Can be done by one person but having a second helps. Great color match. Solid build quality.

I had ordered this particular retractable sunshade as a friend with a Model Y ordered one a little while back and it looked great, worked well and color matched perfectly, the one I received was not the same model as shown in the listing, it is the one that other sellers have that is much cheaper looking and cheaper in price, it is the model that uses two small screws to attach each side to one another, not the metal brackets that is the more sturdy version as shown, also it uses the clips that slide to hide the gap in the middle between the two parts that damage the fabric when you slide it on, not the clip that snaps in to hide the gap. Also another reason I wanted the listed model is that the color matched perfectly with the Tesla fabric, on this one the color is slightly off. The seller should update the listing to show the model they sell now and adjust the price accordingly, it is not good practice to bait and switch and charge a premium for an inferior product.

It looks great. Very functional.Looks like it was made like this. I had a 2nd person help me install and it was very easy. I recommend not installing yourself but I am sure I would have been able to do it just with more trouble.Highly recommend this.

Not difficult to install. 2 man job but we did in less than 30 min. It's intuitive and simple. I recommend.

Inferior upon arrival. The sliding shade is on a roller. The roller is on a rod. The rod should be attached to the frame. On the item that arrived, the rod clearly wasn't wide enough to fit inside the hole that anchors it to the frame. It stays properly attached on one side but not the other. Rendering it unusable.
