Performs well, and frequency coverage isn't a fib!
Works very well as a passive, no need for an LNA like some loops. I've used this antenna from MW to UHF, and the advertised frequency range (at least to 500 MHz in my experience) is true. I've hooked this up to SDRs as well as portable and table radios. Noise rejection is excellent, mag loops are needed in my environment with LOTS of RF noise.

Good for Backup, easy to install.
I purchased this to replace a 7 element Discone type wide band antenna that was damaged in a storm, as well as a random wire one. I am still in the testing stage. I mounted it in in exactly the same place and the same height. I have it positioned east west at present. So far, it appears to match the performance of the Discone in the Radio FM, VHS and UHF Bands but is slightly weaker in the AM Broadcast Band. It is, however, more sensitive as far as detecting weak or distant stations. As far as the SW Band, namely, 2.3 to 30mgz, it would be hard to match a wire antenna but this does an adequate job if you do not live in a Rural area or have enough room to put up a wire.

WV-601 Passive Loop antenna
Wonderful antenna. I installed the WV-601 atop a 20 foot mast (which is still below my roof peak due to HOA restrictions) and ran the provided lead thru a splitter to my Icom R75 and my Whistler WS 1098 scanner. A VERY noticeable improvement on Shortwave and , due to the 10khz - 999 mhz range, provided enhanced 4 county scanning on the Whistler. Great price point too.

Nothing
Picks up nothing mounted 10ft above my roofline. I waited quite a while to put this together after receiving it so I'm past any warranty. Just for kicks, I connected a cheap scanner whip to my receiver, and at least get WWV. This antenna is dead silent on all bands.

Its exactly wwhat I expected
Nice little simple loop antenna. Not mounted or grounded and just sitting in the corner of my shack. I connected it to an SDR all band receiver and within 10 minutes I was receiving 20 meter QSOs voice and CW from East and West coasts of the USA and a few stations out of Canada. I am located near the IL - WI boarder. I'm happy with it, no regrets.

Complete kit that works well with SDR
This antenna is very easy to assemble. It comes with appropriate cables and adapters to connect to typical SDR type receivers. It worked well for FM and seems to perform throughout the advertised frequency range.

Wv-601antenna 10khz to 999mhz
Personally I was not impressed. I'm a radio operator/ tech.Tested all three antennas in same location, 8' ant bottom height, vertical & horizontal position here.1) Found worked better in horizontal position then vertical not by much.2) I compared antenna with a home made antenna I built, homemade won.3) I compared with a diamond 2db antenna and it beat it the wv-601 on FM broadcast band.4) Personal I found not to be a 50 ohm system, all over. The ant could be bad, not keeping it to investigate and make modifications, too busy.
