I have a g233 and I got this because my old cord stopped working. This one worked for 3 weeks perfectly with the mic and sound. But one day the mic was cutting out and making static noises. But if you want it just for listening then just buy. But don’t buy this because it will not last

Been looking for a functional replacement cable for the Amazon Gaming headset for a long time. They seem to be the failure point as you trip over the cable or forget you are wearing them and get up. I've got three sets of the headphones due to not being able to find the cable and Amazon help people couldn't help me years ago. Decided to look again and found these... and they work! Yeah!!!

I got this cable as a replacement for my G pro headset, this is actually my 3rd cable now. I store my headset by hanging it on my headphone hanger when not in use. The cable has failed inside the connection point to the headset, same as the last one I bought.I have no clue to the quality of these internally but man I they just don't seem to last long at all.

Good for audio but when using the microphone it cuts your voice every half second so it's basically on off on off for your voice.

I’m writing this review three months after buying the wire. It worked great for the three months that it did, but suddenly started only playing sound on the right side. I imagine I just got unlucky with a defect, but because it’s three months later and outside the return window, I’m stuck with a nearly 50$ paper weight.

When I switched to this new cord, people tell me I sound much more muffled in audio calls.

Audio output and microphone quality is poor compared to the VMODA name brand boom mic. I tested them side by side with the one im replacing in discord, and the one I consider "broken" still sounds better. In my opinion, its a better bet to just pay a little more for the name brand one. I will be returning this.

Audio is clear both from the microphone and the earpiece. Had a Plantronics RIG 600 that stopped working in one ear. Wiggling the cable could cause the audio to come back, so I knew the cable was the issue. Plantronics does not offer a cable replacement, so I saw this one and the end connectors looked the same as the old cable. Bought it, tried it, and it worked PERFECTLY. The only difference is the Plantronics boom mic is more physically sturdy and longer. But the boom on this is adequate, and the people I am speaking with at the remote end say they hear me crystal clear and loud. I also verified this at home on two laptops and Google Hangouts. Been working flawlessly for at least two weeks now.UPDATE (Reduce rating to two stars):It is now December (5 months of use), and one side of the headset has no audio. Tried the old cable again, and it has audio in the side that is not working now, but other side has no audio....as expected, and this was the reason I bought this replacement cable in the first case. Visually, the cable looks good, but it seems the internal connections to the jacks is what has gone bad (bad solder joints internally???). I have had similar issues with all of these types of headset cables, regardless of manufacturers. So if you are willing to accept these will go bad in a 5 month timeframe, and the cost is acceptable. Just be aware that even though these seem very rugged by just looking at teh build quality, internally, they are not robust. It will work well, but will need to be replaced often.

Lo use fácilmente unos 4 meses sin problemas, después el cable ya no recuperaba su forma si lo doblaba un poco para guardarlo, empezó a presentar falsos en los que solo se escuchaba un lado del audífono aunque el micrófono continuo funcionando ya no era recomendable usarlo con mis audífonos y por 1 mes mas lo seguí usando exclusivamente como micrófono ahora no se si volver a comprarlo si me va a pasar lo mismo.PD: lo compre por que pense que era el original de V-moda pero no lo es los materiales son distintos y supongo que de menor calidad, ire por los originales espero que duren mas.

When the product worked it was great and fit the intended use. After about a year the sound started to cut in and out really bad and only got worse.

Hi there... I bought this few months back and have used it a few time with my SONY headphones. It worked great however I am now not able to hear the voice clearly as it echoes. I have tested my headphones with another cable and it just worked fine. Its the boom mic that now has the issue.Great product for the price but didnt last as per my expectation. Would be great if I can get a replacement.
