The first timeI opened the box and looked at the manual I gulped. Good lord there are pages and pages of instructions. The manual is obviously written by a tech head who is not the best at English. It took quite a bit of deciphering.At the second time of looking it seemed a little easier to understand. You get a panel to install on a wall or on a table. You also get a door sensor and a movement sensor. So you could cover the front and back doors of a house. This doesn't seem sufficient as burglars usually target windows for entry. Their is also 2 key fobs that will act as remote controls.The app is complicated to get through and takes time to understand.It's designed to be a simple system but it is overly complicated. The manual needs a quick start guide. If someone was familiar with alarm systems they would install this easily but we are not that.£150 is a considerable sum of money to spend so I would ask for the company to get the manual re written. Yes have all the complicated parts but just add a section for alarm installation for dummies. For example It tells you to install the detector in an effective distance from the host panel....there is jlno clue as to how far this is?

The Home Alarm System WIFI (2.4G & 5G) GSM 4G Wireless Security Smart Alarm System seems a bit too simple on first impression but it actually houses a surprise amount of features under the hood that make it quite appealing.The first is the level of back up systems in play. Yes, it’s a WiFi first system but backs up with GSM 4G and dual banding. The power plug is backed up by an internal battery, that gives it up to a third of a days battery power.The mobile app takes a little time to get used but I think that’s a fair assessment for the system as a whole. I’d be slightly worried about its expandability and durability long term - and it’s only really suited for smaller homes but if it works for you, it’s not bad.
