I purchased this car for my 15 yo son with his Christmas money. On the day after Christmas he drove it into the street drain. There was about 5ft of standing water and the car stayed submerged for about 10min. My husband removed the street grate and I fished the car out of the hole. I removed the battery and allowed the car to drip dry for two days. Now I don’t recommend playing in or around water but after we put the spare battery in the car that came with it, miraculously the car worked. I went back later and sprayed it with wd40 and the car has been working ever since. It’s tough and well built.

This is a fast machine especially with a upgraded battery and setting the remote speed to high I would say it does close to 50mph and holy moly it wheelies instantly and spins cookies like mad however it does not do well in grass I over heated it and melted the engine to the point it caught on fire in about 10 minutes of hard racing in backyard grass about 4 inches tall. However Amazon quickly sent me a replacement and it has been great.

Last update! The replacement lasted 1 week. All the parts stayed intact but the motor sounds fried already. So unless you plan on just driving it like a grandma it isn’t worth the money. I am getting a refund and what a disappointment. We really wanted to like this car. **third UPDATE ***review. Received the new car! It rocks I do believe we got a dud because this little car is awesome! Worth the money so far..It’s still fairly new. I will try to update as we own this car a little longer but so far it’s been a really cool toy.I don’t know how this is getting so many great reviews. Everything broke on this in day one! Returning it hoping it’s a dud and the next one will work better but the wheel holder broke off, one of the wheels broke off. We were rigging everything! I finally said it needs to go back! I’m hoping the new one is as good as all the rest. We weren’t being aggressive with it and for it to break like this isn’t worth the money. Disappointed but will see if we have a better experience with the replacement. Will update my review if it’s a different experience.

You wouldn’t think it would go so fast my boy loves this and it still picks up signal for a good ways away now and he goes outside more instead of sitting in front of video games

This car is fast for its size on 2s batteries, I didn't even try it on 3s batteries. It can't handle rough lawns very well and is better suited for concrete, gravel, and hard flat dirt. The suspension is so soft the bottom of the car hits the ground if it gets dropped from more than 1-2 feet. It is definitely not made to ramp, which unfortunately I did with mine. If you land upside down the front body post will probably break, also the steering tie rod connections break easily. You probably won't need to put the wheelie bar on since it usually burns out instead of pulling a wheelie. For the price, (I got mine on sale for about $110) its a great car as long as you don't jump it.

This little rc runs like crazy. I love watching my son tearing up the streets. I’ve spends way more money on rc cars and this thing is the best I’ve purchased!

This car is stupid fast I mean to the point where you can not control it on the asphalt road and you can upgrade the batteries to 3s and get more power from it.

We had 2 of these and now both are broken the screws that hold rie end rod parts strip somehow just driving the RC. It's a great care with no spare parts for what breaks. 1st car the wheel came off and.lost all those parts and second car has a striped screw so front wheel goes all over the place.
