This is the French flag of Geography class fame! This one just happens to be 3ft by 5ft (91.4 cm by 152.4 cm) in size. The product description claims this is "Heavy Duty Polyester" and though I agree that it is made out of Polyester, it feels more like medium duty. Besides this item of note, it's well sewn together and the colors are as vivid as they should be (they match the "bleu, blanc, rouge" when you Google it).I hope this review helps you make an informed purchasing decision!

This is an all-around great French flag. It's a full 3 ft by 5 ft, so it's BIG! It's made of strong nylon, and it would hold up really well if hung outside. I'm using mine as a photo backdrop for school, and then it will be part of the classroom decorations indoors.The colors are vibrant, and the flag is very well constructed.5 stars, vive la France!

Made from a very light polyester, this flag has great colors and good durability, with strong stitching around the grommets and folds. After unfolding it, its seams are pretty deep, but after a tumble dry on low, the fabric relaxed a lot. It may take a few tumbles to really get the wrinkles out, but it's a big enough flag that it would still look good hanging even with some wrinkles in it. Strong enough to hang outside and easy enough to clean, this is a great flag to show your French pride.

I review a lot of flags, almost all of them imported from China. This flag shows the usual quality and workmanship. This flag uses the lighter colors of the French flag (the official specifications allow for lighter and darker variations). The proportion should be 2:3, so a 4x6' flag would be the correct proportions. For the price, this flag is fine. The nylon does not have much heft, so in both how it drapes and how much light it lets through, you can tell it is thin material. This is typical of flags at this price level.

This flag is of much nicer quality than my previous French tricoleur flags and it is a true tricoleur: each color is a separate piece of fabric stitched to another. This is a medium/heavy flag that will take a beating, whereas cheaper flags will fray and disintegrate fairly quickly if used regularly. Because the flag is so stiff, I did need to press it with a towel over it and that result was perfect. I fly the French flag regularly and my old one was in tatters, so this is a huge improvement. The fabric is robust, the construction/stitching is excellent, and the colors are bright and saturated. I can't speak to whether it will fade, but I expect to get many years of use from this flag.
