Much better quality than last dollar store one I bought... but I use these to light up tabletop Christmas houses. As a necklace, I would suggest reinforcing by marrying it to a solid necklace, probably with hot glue... the wires are too thin to last long as a necklace. Great value for price.

These are perfect for Christmas/holiday parties and events. We used them on a holiday cruise and everybody loved them! We like the different lighting options and will use them repeatedly in the future.

I purchased this pack of four light-up Christmas necklaces to give to my coworkers to wear on pajama day at work. Unfortunately, one of the necklaces—the Christmas tree—didn’t work correctly (only one tree would light up) which was both disappointing and embarrassing. While the other three (I believe) were fine, there’s no option to replace just the defective necklace. To exchange it, I’d have to collect all the necklaces back from my coworkers and return the entire set, which is obviously not practical. It’s frustrating that there isn’t a more convenient way to address this issue. The concept is fun, but the quality and exchange policy need improvement.

There is a reason these are cheap. They are fun but break easily, even with being careful. You will look down a see a broken strand and wonder how it happened. They are fun but strands will probably break before battery runs out of juice.

They are really cute and you can pick from a Santa, snow flakes or snowman. As for the price, it was worth it. I compared them to other places and found this one to be the best. The battery lasted throughout the Christmas season.I ordered enough for everyone in our Christmas Festival of Lights walking show. They are bright enough to use as a beacon to keep everyone recognizable in the group together. They also can be used as decoration on a small Christmas tree. There are very small pieces and a few did fall off so I do not recommend giving them to small children. I will be using them again for next year.

Pros: Beautiful when first received; colors are vibrant; Cons: Wiring is fragile and lights go out shortly upon wearing. Wires come away from the necklace, therefore, it is not the battery life but poor craftsmanship that creates necklaces that won't work or only 2 or 3 lights functional in less than 2 hours of wear.

I bought these necklaces for a Christmas vacation we went on. All of the necklaces are very cute looking. However when we pulled the tab on the battery pack, some of the lights didn't work on two of the necklaces. On one necklaces only two of the Santa light lit up. The other one didn't work at all. The two necklaces that did work 100% were cute. I don't think these necklaces were expensive by any means but I don't think think I would buy them again knowing that the quality of the lights operating was so low.

All of the pieces worked well. It was a nice touch to have three different light settings. There are Christmas lights, snowmen, Christmas trees and snowflakes that all light up, one per the set to make up four. They lasted throughout our neighborhood's Christmas parade evening and they were a hit with the kids!
