There is one of these windows that make the late day sun unbearable. This was the best option I could find and it is the perfect solution! It keeps it darker and aides in making the room a bit cooler since it wards off those hot day rays. It was easy to cut and apply and stays in place well.

Product arrived quickly. The shade is easy to open and close so the room is not dark in the daytime. Has enough blackout and it keeps the street lights brightness away. Make sure to cut with caution because once it's cut too much then there is no going back.

I added this smaller half circle behind a larger six foot wide shade to reduce light andheat from the direct sun exposure.

The product is nice, it's durable. That being said, it's not easy to cut. I used a grinder and a cutoff wheel. Cut it like butter, went nice and slow so it didn't kick back. Another thing to remember, no drywall is straight. You might have to cut again even though you measured.

Use a sharp knife to trim and be careful. However, the blind is perfect and easy to install. Works as needed!

We've struggled for a couple years trying to keep the light out from the arch window in our master bedroom. This was a perfect solution. We were a little skeptical at first, as it's just a paper fan basically, but the magnetic design works really well.It's somewhat fiddly cutting it down to size before putting it in, but it works great after it's installed.

This shade delivers as advertised - it really blocks the light through the arch window in our guest room, which is important because it's an east facing room.But don't believe the hype about these being easy to install. The instructions tell you to cut them to the radius or your arch. THIS IS WRONG! You have to allow an extra 1/2 inch because the bottom of the shade forms a small 1/2 semicircle of empty space.Also, they show the shade being cut with a knife. That is impossible because of the rubber magnet strip. I ended up using a hacksaw and cleaning up the edge with a pair of scissors.

You need a large sharp blade to cut the product to length. I tried a regular utility knife, it was too small and wobbly to get a clean cut. I used another knife with a new OLFA Pro Ultra-Sharp Extra Heavy-Duty Snap-Off Blades, 25-mm. Cut through it nicely and left a clean edge. Also to note that my application was for a 1/4 round window. Given the blind is designed for a semi round window there is extra material. I needed to cut off around an extra inch from the radius measurement to get the blind to fit as there was too much material on radius side. It does a good job at keeping the light out. I also like that there is a magnetic connection on one side so I can get back there to clean. Had my windows replaced and behind the old blind there was literally mushrooms growing.

This blind was true to colour and easy to size and install.

Make sure you measure several times before cutting. You will need a very sharp thin bladed knife to cut to size. A thick blade will bind.

Great product for the price. I did find it a bit difficult to cut and used a very sharp knife. Would recommend a cutting device more user friendly for this blind be an option to include with this purchase or having the option to have an exact cut before being shipping.I ended up having to snip down a bit with scissors to get it to fit that was not exactly a clean cut but it got the job done.
