I was skeptical based on some of the reviews posted and was willing to lose money if it didn’t work. Well, weeks later and numerous cuts including large limbs, it’s still performing without any issue. Talk about value for money, well worth the spend.

Worked great for about 20 minutes. I set it down and stopped using it for about an hour. When I tried to use it again, it seemed that the bar had warped and the chain would no longer spin. I took it apart several times - it's actually very simple - and that's the only conclusion I could come to. I will buy a better quality replacement. Let the buyer beware, I guess.

This item works well enough for what I paid, mates well with my Ryobi powerheads, both battery and gas powered. The button holding the shaft aligned with the powerhead broke readily, so an improvised bolt holds it in. I had a brush clearing project alongside a creek which required a heavier tool than my large trimmer and it worked well doing it. It cut a tree about 12 inches in diameter quite handily.The real problem is the continual necessity to remove the cover, clear debris and jams, and clean the bar slot and retighten the chain perhaps every 20 minutes during heavy use so if time is your enemy you are probably best suited by buying a better model. The bar oil seems to be used up quite fast. I never owned a chainsaw type of implement so I don't know if these problems are the norm.
