Very lightweight, and sturdy for a folding cane. The handle is hard plastic and a bit small for an adult male with small hands. I had hoped the tips would be spread out more. Although a quad cane, the small base makes it similar in balance to canes with an oversized single tip. The tilting spring at the base is great feature, but it does cause a small wobble with every depression. I love that it doesn’t fall over, many canes with wider single tips promise this but still fall.Between the slight wobble and small hard handle, I don’t plan on using this outside for longer walks and I’m not sure I would trust putting my full weight on it to go up or down a step. A great house cane for the price though.

So like the title stated I got this cane for my grandma for a couple reasons she wanted the 4 placements on the bottom instead of a straight cane and the price was reasonable, we have only had the cane for a couple days but she uses it a lot and she used to have to be transported to the bathroom by having someone walk with her however since she’s gotten the can she has been using it and it’s been working. My only negative comment about this came is that it’s a bit wobbly at times I’ve screwed everything in properly but it goes wobble a little.

I regret that I need a cane to get around but my orthopedist tells me a fall will void the warranty on my hip replacements (that's right both hips). I have a number of canes and prefer the ones that will stand on their own and absorb some of the tension of my 325 pound body. This is the best cane I have found and I prefer it over some other very good canes I have purchased.

The height adjustment feature did not work at all on this model. Returned this one. This was the 2cnd one of these purchased. After using it for a few months the buttons that hold the height adjustment broke.

Some reviewers complain about the "wobbly ankle" feature but I think it is great. It seems to help maintain good contact with the floor or ground as I walk forward. I think that is the idea of this feature. It was very easy to assemble and adjust to the right height. I have been using a four-footed cane with a much bigger footprint and this one is a great transition towards a simple straight cane. I really like it.
