This was bought for our 7 year old Grandson for Christmas. He loved it and knew straight away how to use it and set it up! It's a great quality, which it needs to be for a 7 year old boy!! It is good at making him concentrate and still enjoy what he's doing. Good value for money because of the amount of usage he's had out of it already. Glad we bought it

A Fun (but Flawed) Indoor Football FriendAs a football enthusiast always looking for ways to sneak in some extra practice, I was intrigued by the "Smart Ball Soccer Bot." The idea of having a little automated opponent to hone my dribbling skills indoors sounded brilliant, especially with the unpredictable British weather!What I Liked:* Engaging for Kids: My younger cousins, who are budding footballers, absolutely loved this. It's genuinely fun to try and outmaneuver the bot, and the different speed settings mean it can be a challenge for various skill levels.* Indoor Practice Solution: For those rainy days or when outdoor space isn't an option, this is a neat way to get some ball touches in. It certainly beats just kicking a ball against a wall.* Helps with Close Control: You really do need to focus on close control and quick feet to keep the ball away from the bot, which is a definite plus for skill development.* Works on Carpet (Mostly): I was a bit sceptical about its performance on carpet, but with the "boost mode," it actually manages fairly well on short-pile carpets. Hard floors are definitely better, but it's usable on carpet.What Could Be Better:* Battery Drain: This thing eats batteries for breakfast! Both the bot and the ball seem to chew through them pretty quickly, so make sure you have a good stock of AA and AAA batteries or invest in some rechargeable ones.* Durability Concerns: While it's great fun, I do have some reservations about its long-term durability. It feels a bit on the lighter side, and I wonder how it would hold up to repeated, enthusiastic use.* "Smart" is a Strong Word: Don't expect a tactical genius. The sensor failed to detect the ball or stay within the playing area. The ball has a battery pack inside which stops it from rolling around properly. Nearly everyone I know who got one returned it. Sadly I missed the return window. Don't buy this unless you love returning items.

Excellent my son loves this

The media could not be loaded. My football mad son got this for Christmas and has loved using it. It is a toy and a tool to aid him in his football training. Can already see the difference in his footwork since using it. He loves beating his top score, and also loves competing with his brother too. I love that it keeps him off of devices and keeps him active when it’s raining outside whilst also staying on the floor (rather than balls flying through the air accross my living room!). I really recommend this for all ages, as my 11 year old also loves playing with it when his little brother lets him! So glad we got one before they sold out.

This is fantastic from like u9 year or older or with two or three players learns them to stay calm when challenged n keep the ball better
