Usual Spigen Quality - Happy Customer
I've used this Spiken kit before on previous phones and always been very satisfied. However, due to all the negative reviews and being a perfectionist I spent ages looking for an alternative. In the end I wasn't convinced by any of them and so I decided to try this for myself and it fits well, looks great and I am very happy with it. Yes there is a black border, but if I hadn't read all the bad reviews I wouldn't have given it a second thought. In fact my first impression is that perhaps it is a good thing as you don't get any light bleed at the edge of the protector. Am just waiting now for the camera protectors to come back in stock.

Could be great but a large flaw
The method of applying the screen protector is brilliant, it's nicely set up, easy to do and feels like a quality product, however there is a black border around the screen protector and it is not in the correct place, the border is a few millimetres to narrow, this means that you loose some of the screen on both sides and top and bottom, it may only be a small amount but it does make a difference (scroll bars are not visible, some notification icons in apps are not visible) so unfortunately although I like the product and it could be great it falls a bit short and I have in fact had to remove it and use a completely different case/protector.

Very poor outing for Spigen
Pros- Clear instructions- It is a screen protectorCons- Black border- Questionable qualityBackgroundI've used several Spigen products over many years both for myself and friends /family - Primarily screen protectors and cases.I've fitted dozens of screen protectors successfully first time (though a couple needed a few bubbles working out). This is the worst screen protector experience I've had.InstructionsThe "IKEA-like" picture instructions are OK on their own, but the video is much better (though I advise watching on mute). The video instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow and even have a couple of "don't dos" which is handy for those that like to go "off-script".ToolsI can never quite adjust to the "all-inclusive" screen protector packages you now get.The wipes, microfiber cloth, dust tickets etc. all in a nice box, are a far cry from the "just 2 protectors in an envelope" I used to get when ordering for my Samsung Tocco. (hey, I said I'd been doing this a while..).All the included items do their job and are of decent enough quality and suitabley to prepare the phone for installation. The "fitting device" is pretty easy to use and does a better job than just trying to eyeball it. No complaints here...Fitting...but there's definitely one here. After watching the tutorial video several times, I painstakingly cleaned the phone using all the tools provided, attached the auto-alignment tool... Then watched in horror as the bubbles formed."it's OK" I thought, "there was some on the video, I just need to push them out!".And yes, some of the bubbles got pushed from under the case and we're clear.. But there were also some very stubborn ones. These required several goes, but again, some were cleared.I was still left however with a "splattering" of small bubbles all over the screen. This is where it went from bad to worse..I was previously gliding the squeeze tool with a bit of pressure, but I thought I need to push a bit harder to get the bubble moving. The screen cracked. The screen cracked from a rubber wiping tool and a nerd's minor pressure.Any faith I had in the protector protecting my screen was then lost.Fitting 2I'll skip the prelude on this one and cut to the chase.Same again. Lots of bubbles all over.Naturally I was *very* careful this time round and after 10 minutes of gentle coercision, I was left with only one bubble...Until I wiped the screen and 2 more appeared. 🙈SummaryAs I was about to throw my phone at the wall, I decided it would be better (and cheaper) to share my experience with the 2 people that will read this review.(oh and the black bars *are* intrusive)Which just really puts the cherry on the cake.

Fantastic, and underrated
I don't normally write reviews, but felt I needed to for this given I almost didn't buy it due to its poor review score. The packaging is great, application is easy first time with the align tool, screen response is great and it works perfectly with my case.In reality, I don't think you can judge a screen protector on fall protection, that's what a case is for, but it will definitely stop pocket scratches. This is the best screen protector I've ever used, and with 2 in the pack it's great value. I encourage you to ignore the overall review score and give it a go.

Good quality and helpful fitting tool, but the black border impedes on the screen
I love Spigen stuff, have used their cases for years now and will continue to do so as they're of fantastic quality and the fit is absolutely perfectSadly, the same can't be said about these Pixel 8 Pro screen protectors.I purchased these in advance of the P8 Pro arriving so I could protect the screen straight out of the box and the moment it arrived today (a day early, thanks Google!) I got to work installing them. The alignment tool fit flush and indeed guided the glass protector down into a perfect position, an absolute win for Spigen, and the protectors themselves seem to be of the same high quality that I've come to expect from this brand, however it's apparent that the odd choice of putting a black outline around the edge of the protector was a poor one as it slightly sits over the viewable area of the screen, removing around 1mm of screen viewing on every side. For the most part this isn't particulary impactful, but things like scroll bars in Nova Launchers app drawer, or the UID code at the bottom of the screen on a Hoyoverse game are slightly impeded, reducing the overall experience and requiring "tilting" the phone to see "under" the black edge.Perhaps the protector I got was defective, but I can't test this theory as I got dust on my first attempted protector, rendering it useless (my fault entirely).Overall, I debated 2 or 3 stars on this, but opted for 3 as the quality and fit on everything else is top tier, it's just a shame that the actual experience is dampened by this design choice.

Easy to install, looks and works great
I bought Spigen glass screen protectors for both my new Pixel 8 Pro, and my wife's iPhone 15 Pro Max. I've installed a bunch of screen protectors over the years, usually with no problems, but with my wife's, the first one messed up - I think the sticky tape on the applicator, which I didn't fully remove, stuck to it when removing and caused it to shift a bunch. I mention this because my wife decided to redo hers, and then she wanted to do mine but somehow rushed through it and it was slightly too close to one edge and the case kept causing it to lift slightly. So I finally removed it and reinstalled the same on, and it's now amazingly OK. I still have the spare though, just in case. Some people complain that the Pixel applicator is not as good as the one for the iphone, but I strongly disagree. I've used both, and the one for the iphone is harder because you can't really see what you're doing until it's all done. This one is much simpler, and has never failed me as long as I took my time and didn't rush like some people I know - hope my wife doesn't read this!I like the fact that this doesn't have a cutout for the front camera like most others. With the case, you can't tell there's anything there, and the touch response seems to be fine. It also seems to stay cleaner than my last phone, but maybe it's too soon to be sure about this.

No camera cut out. Easy to apply. Excellent results!
9H Temper glass protectors only work on phones with no curved edge display. That is a law. This protector is absolutely fantastic on the Google Pixel 8 Pro. The fit, application, and quality is the best. Important to note that ample clearance is given for cases. Day to day with hectic commuting has proven it quite durable with no failures so far. It also has survived three 3 foot falls (with case)!

100% satisfait
