LIfesaver. Paired with a battery operated air compressor-you are your own tire shop
I never considered fixing my own flat tires until I was riding with some friends, and we punctured a tire off-road. It wasn't a super fast leak but it was going down. We raced over to a friend's garage, and my buddy jacked up the truck, pulled the nail out, plugged the leak, and put air back in the tire in under 15 minutes. That would have cost $30-$40 and a couple of hours at a tire repair shop. I watched him repair it and immediately thought, I can do that! I got this kit and put it in my truck with my battery-operated mini-compressor, and now I don't worry about running over a nail. Got it covered! This has a permanent home in my truck now.

Cheap metal
Out of the box thought this was going to be a good tool. Wrong. Reamed the area changed atttachments. And bent the metal attachment to where you cant p ust it straight.

Decent kit
If you've got to plug a tire, this kit will help. Being able to change tips versus having separate tips with handles conserves space - however, I worry about the removable tip staying stuck in the tire if the handle can't hold it securely enough to pull out of the tire. For a simpler tire, such as a lawn tractor or wheelbarrow, this should work fine, but a radial car tire might grip it too tight for the handle to pull the tip out. Me, I'm taking this with me on a motorcycle trip where space is at a premium and being stuck in the middle of nowhere isn't a good thing - it might save me. For this purpose, I'm glad to have this kit.
