Fit My Kahr P9
Fit my Kahr P9, by extension will also fit the Kahr CW9. Heated it up with a hair dryer, still a challenge to get on, BUT it will NEVER slip off. Have one of these (a different size) on my Kahr P45 and really like how it makes the grip a little larger and grippy, but not overly so. A definite upgrade for the P9, I probably would not care as much for the pistol without this on it. As you can see from the reviews some have tore theirs installing it, so either follow the instructions and use a lube or heat it up before installing it.

Great product and well worth the price.
I prefer a larger caliber EDC pistol, but I find it hard to find a smaller model with a comfortable grip. I ended up selecting the S&W M&P Shield .45 ACP for it's size and weight, but still not completely satisfied with the grip, especially the extra rough texture of this one making it impossible to wear next to the skin under a shirt. (I prefer OWB concealed carry.) I found the HOGUE pistol grip sleeve on Amazon for about $11 USD and decided to give it a shot.I read some of the views about the difficulty of installing the grip, but I concur with the other reviewers who said you have to be "manly" to get this thing on your pistol, but it is worth it.I followed the directions to boil the sleeve for about 10 minutes. I unloaded and disassembled the pistol so I could be thorough with the Windex application. Using the technique described, I was able to install the sleeve in less than ten minutes, and I love it! I would have paid twice the price for the additional width and comfort this sleeve provides. It's knobby texture provides great grip, but is comfortable enough to wear next to my skin.I highly recommend this product, just keep in mind that you MUST follow the instructions and it will be difficult to install, but I am telling you it is worth the effort.

Worth the Money and Effort!
For the price, this is an amazing product. Gives a nice feel to the grip with even more control. It adds a noticeable thickness to the grip, but i didn’t mind that. But just like many of the other reviews state, it is a ***** to get on! It really dosnt look like it’s made for the grip, but trust me, it will go on with some work and because of its tight fit, it will hold nicely! Follow the instructions and work with it and you’ll get it on with a little...or a lot of patience. To put mine on my .45 i boiled some water in the microwave. Dropped the grip in there and walked away for about 5mins and then fished it out an started stretching it to go on. I had better luck with putting the front on first so i could pull up on the back piece. The biggest thing to remember is that once you get it started on there, do not let it slip off or you’ll be heating it back up again! After it’s half way on, it’s just working with it the rest of the way! Hope that helps someone! In the end, it’s worth the effort and it’s a great product!P.S. I didn’t have any windex, so using some might make it easier on you.

Work great.
This grip sleeve does the job. The narrow top back of the grip was killing the web of my hand. This rubber sleeve totally solved the problem. Be warned though, it is a chore to install it, very very tight. I heated mine up in hot water then soaked it with windex and got it on.

The Juice Ain't Worth The Squeeze
Two men, a small boy, and a Golden Retriever were unable to install this sleeve on a M&P Shield 2.0 .45 ACP pistol. We boiled it in water, did what we could by stretching it in all directions, and even used Windex as a lubricant, along with cut-out plastic strips, but to no avail. Finally, when we were at the point of high aggravation, we tried using plyers that resulted in a tear, but still we could not get it on.

AN INEXPENSIVE,GOOD-LOOKING AND USEFUL ADDITION TO YOUR COMPACT PISTOL!
I have a Kahr CW9, and while I really like the pistol I dislike the aggressively textured grips. It's a polymer-frame weapon, so you can't just change grip panels. There are various stick-on overlays available, but I initially chose to go with a Pachmayr Tactical Grip Glove. Despite the grandiose name, this is just a little rubber sleeve that slides onto the grip. It covered up the worst of the pointy texturing and improved the handling of the weapon somewhat, but it also fit a little loosely, and I constantly had to re-position it.Then recently I saw the Hogue HandAll, and I had to try it. For one thing it looked as if it covered up more of the frame than the Pachmayr, having a "beavertail" that goes clear up the backstrap . The CW9 has a pretty brisk recoil, and the idea of having some extra padding seemed good to me. AND it was available in OD green, which being an old Army guy is my favorite color. So I ordered one.......I could tell as soon as I took it out of the package that it was not going to be easy to install, as it was considerably smaller than the diameter of the grip. However, there are good instructions included, and there are a few tutorials posted on YouTube. One of these was by one of the Hogue family. He said the company philosophy was that a good grip should be hard to put on, so it would stay on nice and tight once installed. In the event, as the Brits say, it wasn't too bad at all. All I needed was some glass cleaner, a pot of boiling water, and a dry towel.I dropped the HandAll into the water and cooked it awhile. While doing this I sprayed the grip frame liberally with glass cleaner. The idea is that the glass cleaner will serve as a lubricant and help the sleeve go on, then evaporate. The boiling water temporarily softens the rubber and makes it stretch easier. So I fished the sleeve out of the pot, sprayed more glass cleaner on the inside, then proceeded to work the sleeve onto the gun. Once the top edges were on pretty well it was fairly easy to sort of push the thing further and further up the frame, using the dry towel and some grunting noises. Once the beavertail was positioned just under the slide it was good to go.I adjusted the HandAll so it was nice and straight, and left it to dry overnight as recommended by Hogue. By morning it was as if it had been glued on- it's not about to move out of position. I haven't had a chance to fire it yet, but due to the beavertail and the fact that the rubber itself is thicker than that of the Pachmayr, I'm confident that it will be a joy to shoot now, with no slippage, Plus it looks nice. The OD green contrasts with the matte black and silver of the CW9 in a good-looking way. All in all I'm very happy with the HandAll. It's an inexpensive complement to any compact pistol.
