Excellent quality
I was extremely surprised at the quality of this puzzle/rubber band gun. When I saw where it was made and how many parts there were to put together, I thought this is going to be a disaster. I couldn't have been more wrong. Yes, it takes a long time to put together. Don't plan on doing it in an hour. But that is because there are many intricate pieces to assemble. But they are all perfectly cut and every one went together as designed. They are so precise, it's like assembling a wooden watch. I think I enjoyed assembling it as much as I like playing with it. I'm considering buying this for my friends next. It would make a great gift for a patient person that likes challenges. Think of it like a ship in a bottle. If you like that, you will love this. I did.

Well done
My 90th of these wooden models, but only the 3rd weapon. This is the best of the three. The bad news first: ROKR has recently decided to print instructions on a single large 33" by 16" sheet printed on both sides, rather than the booklet style of other manufacturers. This is unwieldy at best. There is a lot of text along with the pictures (unlike the others who rely completely on pictures), but the text is often tiny, or not easily understood.Second, there are a lot of really tiny parts, not only wood, but tiny screws, springs, etc. Some spares of both the wood and hardware, but not really enough, in my view (although I needed only a single spare part, I attribute that mostly to a lot of experience with these models).Third: there is no logic to the numbering of parts and assembly sequence. Step one uses parts G5,A9, F6, J6, J4, A25. Woodtrick and Ugears start with part 1 and proceed to the last number.Having said all that this is still a positive review. The good news: everything else. This is an exceptionally nice replica, at about 80% of the real thing, of a Thompson M-1. Looks great, works exactly like the promo video. I was caught off guard at how fast it fires, including the ejection of the dummy cartridges. There is no single shot/auto switch, so it is always in auto mode (unlike the first two weapons I did), but if you've got a Tommy gun I guess auto is what you want.Overall a real beaut of a model when complete. Five stars.

These kits are super fun
I really enjoy building these kits. I’ve tried other brands that use toothpicks to assemble and they just frustrate you after stabbing your fingers time after time.ROKR is the top dog, everything is cut to snap together without use of anything but the included laser cut pieces. If you follow the instructions carefully and have basic mechanical inclination these work and look great. People saying they don’t function lack the ability to look at something and see how it works. Check for functionality at every step so you don’t end up with an expensive paper weight!

Quality build
Went together well, like others said instructions could be better. Make sure you wax any friction area of moving parts above and beyond what the instructions say. Functions properly once assembled.

Loads of fun!
I got this for my 13 yr old grandson and he had loads of fun putting it together. He had a little trouble with the drum, but got it all together with an extra helping hand. There was one of the pieces that screws together and the screw would not catch. Luckily it was a non-moving part so a drop of glue fixed the issue. It works as shown and is well made, good size, and worth the cost. I would buy another different puzzle from this company.

Amazing gift
This is the second wood puzzle gun I’ve gotten. They are fun to build and a blast to use. It is actually well made and worth the money. The wood used isn’t like the balsa wood from those toy airplanes, they are a bit heavier. The size is great and close to life size.

WHOA
SOOOO many pieces to these! Bring patience and steady hands. Hubby and daughter are enjoying putting them together, together. Nice bonding time for sure. Recommend putting a towel or something on table to help keep pieces/parts from hitting table and bouncing (especially if you have a beard..lol..they are hard to find if they bounce, ask me how we know..lol) Anyway, they're going to be fun once completed. I still have mine to assemble to. Maybe hubby will do it since he'll be a pro once done with his..lol
