Great units, fantastic customer support
I have 10 of these and will get 4 more. Total cost will be over $5000. All the blinds are big, and I bought side rails and solar panels for all of them, which added to the cost.My house is in an astronomy community where we value our dark skies, so I bought these blinds to keep light from exiting the house, not to keep light from entering. I realize I am not the marked these blinds are made for.I had a LOT of questions before I bought my first unit, which I viewed as a test case. After ordering I received a mail that basically said, "are you sure your sizes are correct?". A nice touch. The unit came in 2-3 weeks, as advertised. I was impressed with the quality, the remote worked, and the unit hooked up to my Amazon Echo using the smart hub (which, by the way, has USB only for power, not data so mine is plugged into an outlet with a USB port on it). The blind passed the test, so I ordered 9 more.I had even more questions after the first unit arrived and before order # 2. Karen in support is FANTASTIC!!! Despite probably being the only customer who wants to keep light from escaping, she answered my questions. A few times she had to ask her coworkers which I appreciated versus taking a guess. The top of the unit where the motor is sticks out about 1" (2 cm) from the wall, so some light escapes there.I bought the side rails ("U" shaped metal that the blinds go up and down in). They block all the side light but because my walls are textured, some light escapes between the wall and the rail. And some light escapes between the wall and the bottom of the blinds, which are about 1 cm from the wall.I asked Karen about this. Her reply:==================Thank you for your reply.According to your top and bottom light leakage situation, we currently provide you with the following solutions:1. About the top, we will inform the factory to make some fabrics for you to place on the top to block the light.2. As for the bottom, we are willing to make a separate side rail track for you to block the bottom light. Please let us know your opinion.==================If that's not GREAT customer service, I don't know what is. I am not WEFFORT's intended customer and yet they are willing to work with me.About the units:* They are packaged well. Not a single problem with any of the 10 units, and one unit is 7 feet wide.* There is a piece of foam on both sides between the blinds and the side of the unit to keep the blinds from moving. Worked well and takes about 3 seconds to remove. The instructions mention this.* Since I'll have "only" 14 blinds, I only need 1 smart hub. I bought several of the 15-channel remotes - one per room/area. At some point I'll program them all the same so I can use any remote to open/close any blind.* The blinds are in a second home and I'm there about 4 months of the year. I expect to have guests when I'm not there so wanted something that's easy for them to use.* The blinds were easy to connect to my Amazon Echo's. I (or a guest) can say "Alexa, open all blinds" or "Alexa, open office blinds".* Because I don't want guests (or me) to have to charge the blinds I got the solar cells. NOTE: make sure you have them where you want them before pressing them on the window. I accidentally put one cell on with the cord on the wrong side, and it took 10 minutes to remove and ruined the tape.* During my next visit to the house I'll adjust the blinds so they don't go up all the way in order to block the view of the solar cells. It's pretty easy to do from the app on my phone.* Almost all the blinds are 84" tall (215 cm) and take 20-30 seconds to open/close. It would be nice if they moved faster, but it's not a big deal. I'd rather have slower with no problems than fast with problems.* You can hear them when they move but I'd say they are fairly "quiet", and the noise is a hum so is easy on the ears.* All the units came with optional extenders to move them farther away from the wall. I didn't need them, so I have 25 extenders. I'll see if I can recycle them, but it would have been nice to order without them, even if the price was the same. Keep them out of the landfill.Things I think could be improved:* The button you need to push to wake up the motor or to pair the blinds with the app is really tiny and in a hard-to-reach place, and it's hard to know if you pushed it. A bigger button or different place would be nice.* The location of the USB-C connector on the blinds is good if you need to charge the units (and the included USB cable is very long), but for attaching the solar cells the connector is in a terrible place (a 45-degree angle pointing down). I don't know how to run the cable so it doesn't show and am concerned the cable will eventually get stuck in the blinds. If there was a way to rotate the connector so it was at the top that would eliminate both problems. As a side note, I ordered the book of sample fabrics prior to my second, large order. It arrived at the post office before I ordered the units, but since the house is in the middle of nowhere (good for astronomy), I didn't know the book was delivered - unlike most Amazon orders, there were no texts/emails saying, "we shipped" and "it's delivered". I couldn't wait so I ordered the units before getting the book. I only knew the book was delivered when I got a "please post a review" email. That's the only "ding" I'd give the company. When I went to pick up the book I found that a package of side rails was also waiting for me. Strange, since all the other blinds came via UPS or FedEx.Their fantastic customer support more than makes up for the lack of delivery notices.

These Shades Are Amazing!!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I have windows in my living room that are about 16 feet high and used to have the motorized cellular shades that I purchased from a popular national hardware store. I saw these and must admit, the price initially drew me in. But after all the customizations were made, the price more than doubled (and that is with discounts.I had 4 windows that I needed to replace the coverings. I started by ordering one shade to see how it would look. If you want to use and app or Alexa to control the shade, you will need to purchase a hub. The hub was can control multiple shades, so I only need to buy one to control my 4 shades. The hub is very easy to set up, using teh SmartThings App. Please not that you will have to be on 2.4 GHz wifi. There are two remotes that you can purchase. One remote can control up to 15 shades and teh other can control 5 shades. I will only have 4 shades at the most, so I went with the latter. There are about 18 customizations you need to make when picking your shade including: height, width, valance, side of motor, remote, hub, color, bottom rod type, roll position, inside or outside mount, motor type, and light blockers.I am very impressed with these shades. They operate very smoothly. They have an elegant look and are premium quality. The motor is very quiet and move smooth like butter. They are very easy to charge and install. It took me about 15 minutes per shade and most of that time was because I was working on a ladder 16 feet off the ground. The company's communication is awesome. After each of my orders, they emailed me one last time to confirm that I ordered the correct size. They also notified me when my orders shipped and provided a tracking number. The shades arrived very quickly. I would say a little over a week from me placing my order to them arriving at my house. That includes making and shipping. They were packaged very well and had everything that I needed to properly install them. If you purchased a remote. The shades or shade that you purchased with remote will come preprogramed to the remote. Any other subsequent shade purchased will have to be programmed to the remote separately, which is very easy to do.I ordered my remote with my first of 3 shades, so it was only programed to my first shade. I not only had to program the remote to my additional 2 shades that I purchased, but I had to erase the program of the orignal shade and reprogram it because I wanted it on a different channel on the remote other than the first one that I came preprogrammed at. As I mentioned, it was very easy though, using the directions provided. Adding them to the hub is even easier after they are programmed to the remote.I will admit that I hit a snag in my installation. I could not find the instructions for the hub and remote and was stuck. The video on youtube about this is wrong. It had me hitting the up bottom to lock in the program, but I should have been hitting the middle/stop button. Also, he is a nugget to get you started. The shades are sent in shipping mode to prevent unintentional operation in transit. You have to hold the program button to wake them up.I went with the outside mount over the inside mount option. They both allow a bit of ambient light through the edges. There is really no way around that. You can make it a bit better by making your shade bigger, but by making it bigger, you are also making it more expensive. So, you have to find a balance. I can accept the little light that I have coming from the edges of my shades. It looks like a halo effect to me. The shades themself are true blackout and blocks all light.I am very, very, very impressed with these shades and glad that I purchased them. I will say that they are not cheap though. I have already purchased 3 and have 1 more to go to complete my living room. I give these shades on of my highest recommendations. They are easy to set up and use. I like that I can control them with an app, a remote or Alexa (my favorite).

Expertly made and works as promised
Firstly, even having to be made to custom lengths, this motorized window blind arrived 5 days after ordering. Karen in customer service first asked me to confirm the width and length the day I ordered to ensure there would be no errors on my part after ordering - thanks very much for her diligence. I ordered the exact width and height of the window box. The blind is made very well and the black-out cloth used was first rate. Installation took about an hour, mainly because I measured a zillion times to ensure I had the proper bracket placement in my window box. The pre-hang note to take the motor out of sleep mode is important even though after hanging you will still be able to reach the button on the motor itself should you forget. The optional valance I ordered is part of the actual box assembly and not just snapped on to look nice - it is very well made as well. Overall, this is a very well made and supported product with clear instructions included - I even messed up the remote programming and the fix was included in the remote instructions! I intend to order many more blinds now that this one has been so perfectly made for my room.
