Spacious furniture grade desk
I wanted a desk for a corner of our living room, so it had to be less office and more classic. This fit the bill. Looks very nice in a MCM decor. I have lots of room for a 60 inch black desk blotter and a large monitor stand. The drop down keyboard tray was essential and the 2 drawers hold a lot of office stuff. If you need a file cabinet, you can find one to sit under one end of the desk. I got a nice chair that is wood tone with black vinyl that fits perfectly. Good, inexpensive purchase!

Quality Writing Desk with room to spare
I was in desperate need for a writing desk with plenty of space for paperwork but I also wanted a keyboard drawer because I cannot work off a laptop. I will say that Amazon was not my first choice. I checked out many high-end and well known venues that sell furniture but could not find what I wanted for a reasonable price. This desk fit the ticket. It is streamlined and well constructed. I opted for "premium" delivery service with Amazon. All that was needed was the assembly of the legs with an Allen wrench. From start to finish, the service was complete in 15 minutes and they removed the box and packing materials. This is an extremely heavy piece of furniture and it would be impossible for me to maneuver it into the room, let alone unpack, assemble and set it upright. The photos show placement in a 9x12 room. The keyboard drawer is wide and the space accommodates an old HP keyboard and mouse. If the manufacturer could have added a small opening on the top of the desk at each end, it would have been perfect for hiding all the wires but I can live with it. One family member who saw it just loved it. BTW the color is a creamy very light beige, not a stark white.

Beautiful desk
Great desk. Very heavy and well made. Easy to put together. Drawers aren’t very deep, but are wide and hold a lot.

Solid Table, Easy Assemble. First time I don't curse while assembling furniture
What a nice looking piece. Already comes with most of it aseembled. No need for a PhD in drawers assembly, they come ready. In fact, all you do is put he legs on. Done.It took me maximum 20 minutes to assebmle. 14 screws. That's it.First time I don't have the cops called on me by the neighbors for verbally abusing the furniture I'm trying to assemble.Don't tell your wife or significant other. Earn some brownie points. Say it was the hardest thing you've ever assembled. Go for a walk, grab a cup of coffee. Catch up on all Marvel Multiverse movies. Then unveil your work of art.

Rough + Ragged, Overpriced, but the Perfect Design - Simpli-Home Harper
What drew me to this desk in particular was three-fold: the Mid-Century Modern design in solid wood, the dimensions (60" wide + slightly deeper than your standard computer desk), and the keyboard tray. What I find troubling about this desk is the quality for the price. Now, I got this on sale for well over half off at only $400, but that seems like it should be closer to the regular MSRP and not $870. For that price I could have gotten a nice quality MCM desk from West Elm, albeit without the very useful keyboard tray. The solid wood is definitely on the low end of the spectrum of quality in terms of solid wood. There are plenty of places on the exterior of the desk sides that are not sanded smooth, much less finished with lacquer. Speaking of lacquer, upon arrival it had an awful chemical stench (it must have gone straight to packaging before having a chance to air out), but that has since gone away. The bottoms of the drawers are so thin you could easily punch through it with little force, but they are so shallow that you probably will not be putting anything that heavy in them. One of the leg assemblies arrived cracked, split right down the middle. While SH does offer easy replacement parts, we were informed that they had no stock at the time, so our replacement request is on backorder. Fair enough. Luckily the leg assemblies can be installed on either side, so it is facing a wall for now. With that out of the way, as an MSRP of $870 is alarming for the issues I've found, if you can get this on a good sale you will be satisfied immensely compared to some of those $200 MDF desks that serve only as a form of transportation from factory to landfill. Despite the issues, this is definitely not one of those. The best part about this I've found is the keyboard tray. It is wide enough to fit a full-size keyboard and standard mousepad across. Unlike the drawers, the keyboard tray is nice and solid. It is also quite deep, so I can move the keyboard back and place a desktop HOTAS setup in front reasonably well enough.Exquisite cable management is important to me, and while this desk values looks over computer-features such as holes and cable channels (and I appreciate that), there is enough space inset on the inner-backside of the desk to attach power strips with some adhesive and route all your cables. I even have routed the cables for VR base-stations through the drawers, so I can keep them out of sight when I do not want to use them, but still allowing me to assemble them quickly, even while seated. One last thing to mention, as this is probably not aimed at the demographic intending to use it, but it is impossible to apply any sort of clamps to this desk. The thing is just too thick! Don't expect to be able to use a mic boom or HOTAS mount or any sort of clamping device with this desk unless it is one you can mount by drilling. There is still enough room below it to fit a full-tower PC case, however.

A real hassle if anything goes wrong
The desk arrived, and is very nice! But, one of the drawers is cracked. Amazon can’t send replacement parts, and I’ve heard the manufacturer is notoriously difficult to get parts from. There are also numerous cosmetic flaws on the desk. I’ll update this review, depending on how/if the manufacturer handles things.Generally, I’ve found Amazon customer service to be pretty good, for a giant world-eating conglomerate. In this case, they were far less accommodating. I’ve never left an interaction with Amazon customer service before, but here I am, mad enough to cancel Prime.

Great desk for my home office! VERY easy to assemble.
Likes:-Arrived without shipping damage-Nice finishes-Assembly was surprisingly quick and simple.-Seems to be well made.-Good value.Could be better:-Drawers are shallow, and easily could have been made a couple inches longer.-One leg had a minor scratch from the factory. I touched it up with a marker.-Would have liked a bit of felt liner in the drawers to keep things from sliding around. I will just order some…Would I order again? YES
