Our initial user experience with one of these Vsitoo mugs has been so positive that it prompted the purchase of a second, the updated and newly released S3 Pro mug in RED. This mug makes a handsome statement in our home! The Vsitoo brand logo has been removed, the finish is matte (not glossy) and the visual presentation of a RED mug on black charging plate with mug status lights illuminated is tastefully bold. These mugs maintain our served-warm beverages (primarily coffee) at setpoint for several hours on a fully-charged battery, far longer than required to savor a full 14oz fill. The mobile phone / tablet app easily connects with the mug and offers straightforward fine-tuning options that once set, are preserved for future connections. It’s quite handy to have heated beverage mobility throughout our house, a small life luxury we now take for granted but always enjoy. Visitoo’s S2 Travel Mug looks quite unlike most of the travel mugs you see these days; its clean lines and contemporary design are a thing of beauty, and it “feels good” in your hand! Tapered toward the bottom for an easy fit into automobile cup holders (I have positioned it in four vehicles with no issues), this mug’s insulated stainless steel interior maintains cold or hot beverage temperatures to enjoy while on the road. When positioned on the charging pad, beverage setpoint temperatures are maintained indefinitely or until the mug becomes empty. The removable lid is both insulated and sealed to maintain beverage temperature and prevent spillage. A touch control sensor near the base activates mug functions and a soft digital display provides intuitive information before fading away. I would highly recommend your consideration of these smart mugs; well worth the investment!

I have always liked hot coffee. I have a thermos mug at home that does not cool as fast and so retains the heat better. In restaurants, I am often sending the coffee back because it is only lukewarm. This Vsitoo cup is the answer.You can select a target temperature up to 149°F. The cup will then maintain coffee at that temperature and will apply heat to maintain the temperature when the coffee cools below it. I had a similar product by a different company, Ember, but it only heated the coffee to 145°.Believe it or not, those 4° really make a difference. The coffee is hot the way I like it, and it will retain its heat for approximately an hour before the charge finally is used up in the cup. Of course, when you put the cup back in the charging plate, it will recharge for the next time. If by chance you bring the charging plate out with you and keepit plugged in, the cup will retain the heat in the coffeeindefinitely. I have not done this particular maneuver,because I usually finish the cup quickly enough that I do not exhaust the battery charge without having to add the charging plate.If you like your coffee (or tea or cocoa or soup) hot, this cup is a must!

The mug has some issues. One is that the instructions have a big error. It says to hold down the button for three seconds to turn it on. In reality, it is over 8 seconds. The second problem is the app is poorly made. It will only work on certain phones. It is touchy about what version of Android you have and the age of the phone. The app was written for older phones. It would not work with my 2 year old phone but works great on my 4 year old phone.And one more problem, it may take over 4 hours to charge the first time. It came with the battery completely dead. That should never happen. It is not good for the type of batteries that are in the mug. Once it is charged all the way, you are set to go. At least on my mug, the battery seems to be OK in spite of this.So if you have "the right phone" and you hold down the button for closer to 8 seconds, the mug will turn on and the app will work. Don't forget to let it fully charge before the first use.Using the older phone, the mug has worked flawlessly. It does what it is supposed to do.

This thing was great for 3 days and then stopped working completly. The device wont charge at all and has a real issue wtih connecting to the APP using bluetooth.Great idea, and easy to use app. But the mug will not do its thing of keeping coffee or tea at your desired temperature and keep the mug charged.

I like everything about this cup and when I read the description it’s at the battery life last 2 to 4 hours, however, I find a bad day, only last me about an 1 1/2 hours on 60 Celsius. Not gonna lie I didn’t read the directions, so I’m not sure if you lower the temperature you get more battery life… It takes a while to charge so it’s weird when the battery doesn’t last past the 2 hour mark. That is my only gripe with this cup, the quality is great it’s easy to use and it definitely keep my drink hot…just not for long lol especially with me being a slow sipper, unless I’m on the move… but I am a mother with 3 children, going to school and have a business so sometimes I forget I even gave myself coffee so maybe it’s better for someone but even if it just stayed hot a little past 2 hours it would’ve been perfect!

This heated mug solves so many coffee-drinking issues! First, everyone wants their own specific temperature, I.e.- I like might extra hot, but my daughter likes hers just warm enough. This solves that issue. Second, it looks great, styling, modern, and high tech. Third, I can sit and have a leisurely cup of coffee, nice and hot, no matter how long I take to drink it. This is a game changer! You will love your new Vsitoo mug!

My initial review was favorable. Now, having had this mug for a few months (still under warranty) I experienced and reported what I believe to be a potential safety issue. Vsitoo has failed to respond to any of my numerous attempts to contact them for support. I also had Amazon support reach out to Vsitoo regarding the issue.... no reply to Amazon either. The issue included an overheating of the mug, including smoke and visible burning at the bottom of the mug. The non-support from Vsitoo for any warranty issue is unfortunate, but to ignore a potential safety issue is unacceptable.

It takes over 3 hours to fully charge the battery and it only keeps drinks hot for *maybe* 1 hour 45 minutes. Also, I should have read description more closely because the amount of liquid it holds is much smaller than expected; the element (heater) is 1/3 of the actual cup size. Definitely disappointed, considering cost.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m a black coffee drinker and have to wait so long for it to cool off that I forget about it. In a regular mug it gets cold and I have to keep warming it back up in the microwave 3-5 times before I finish it.Now with the S3 Mug it stays warm for an hour or more without using the charger plate and if you put it back on the charger plate you can set the app to turn off it to stay hot longer.It’s a very nice looking mug and I enjoy the feel of it in my hand.It’s much better than the Ember I was given as a gift that lasted just over the 1 year warranty, however, it got me hooked on the heated mug idea.

It keeps my coffee cold for a little over 2 hours maybe and then I have to sit it on the charger base, but that's okay. Having the lid on may help it, but I've never liked drinking my "at home" coffees that way. It was bought for me as a gift and I love it! Mine holds about 12oz and the handle is comfortable. The mug itself isn't too heavy and easy enough to clean by hand. I'd recommend it for coffee or tea lovers that like to take their time to sip away at their drinks.
