Works
I have a 2-inch well using the packer system, a system that has only one pipe going down the center of the well, and uses the space between the well's casing and the center pipe for one of the two required connections to the pump. It is for lawn irrigation, and there is no pressure tank. I don't know why, but this packer system used to be popular, but not anymore. A new deep well jet assembly now costs more than this pump costs (and the pump is still needed of course). I can't just switch over to this pump's ejector because it requires a 4-inch well casing, and mine is only 2 inches. Years ago, I bought a relatively inexpensive pump with the packer style well jet assembly at a big box hardware store, but over the years the pump's seal started leaking badly. The leak reduced the pump's performance to the point it was unusable. I took a gamble and installed this pump, leaving the well alone. I didn't use the ejector included with this pump. Thankfully it is working well. The original pump did a little better in a section of sprinklers where the flow demand is high, but this pump works just as well if not better in other sections. This pump is very quiet - much quieter than the original. I had trouble with the power connections. The terminal screws were very tight, and I could not remove one of them. Because of that, I kept the power cord included with the pump, cutting off the plug and splicing it to my 220-volt wiring.

Great pressure
Note that we have only been using this pump for about a week now. It has been extremely great. The water pressure is amazing; is weirdly noisy but that's ok. Our only issue was locating the switch to change it from a 220 to a 110 (wasn't where is showed to be; it's actually under the section it's supposed to be on). I highly recommend this pump to anyone in the market for a knew one.

Fairly easy install.
I am NOT a plumber! That said I have a 425 foot deep well that constantly runs out of water. So I had to come up with a way to have more capacity. Rain water was my alternative. So I put in two 275 gallon water totes. So I had to find a way to push/pump the water to the house. This pump seemed to be the answer. It was a fairly easy install but the directions were a little lacking. So I searched some online videos and they helped. Anyway it's installed and working great so far. I can't give a 5 star because I don't know it's longevity yet. But it's working and the price point is great compared to others.

Poor quality - Don’t buy
I was surprised after reading all the reviews but this pump was poorly made and leaked like a sieve once hooked up to my water system. The ejector flange interface to the pump would not seal because it was painted and had paint drippings on the flange and had an u even surface. Having a flange interface between the pump and the ejector is also a bad design but it might have worked if the mating surfaces had a smooth finish.Overall, this pump set me back quite a few days on my project. I would STRONGLY recommend you not buy this pump.

Seemed seized at first, but manufacturer support was fast and set me straight!
Great pump. Only issue was it would just hum when I first plugged it in. I was sure it was an electrical issue. Support got back to me right away and asked me to manually rotate the fan. I did and reassembled it... it started right up! Great support and a great pump!

Quality product
This shallow well pump appears to be of good quality. Its cast iron housing is clean. It was easy to install and works smoothly. The jury is still out on reliability since it has only been operating a week or so. When installing you need to make sure all connections are tight including the attached pressure gauge which required tightening during installation after a small leak was detected. The pressure switch is relatively easy to adjust as is the power (220 vs. 110).

Bang for your buck!
Installed in January to supply my house from my well. No issues so far! Only thing I will say is to be careful with the rubber seal while installing it. Other than that it works great!

Don’t purchase this
I liked the price of this pump and I liked the fact that it got here quickly. It took me about a month to get everything in order to install it. I just primed the pump today and turned it on for 10 seconds and then unplugged it and then primed the pump again and turned it on and it pumped water for about 15 or 20 seconds and then the motor dropped RPM and would not pump anymore. Very dissatisfied customer
