This is an excellent tool for anyone who needs a small lightweight saw for pruning trees or shrubs and processing firewood. The saw will easily cut through branches up to 6 inch in diameter with ease.The battery life is very good and provides plenty of power to the brushless motor.The saw plus battery is lightweight and easy to handle and the 2 supplied chains are very sharp. On a single battery I have processed enough timber to fill 6 x 60ltr compost bags. The chain is of good quality and still has plenty of life left in it to cut a lot more timber. I regularly oil the chain with a good quality chainsaw oil which helps keep the cutting edges in good shape.The cost of replacement chains is extremely reasonable and can be purchased from Amazon. The chains I’m using are supplied by a company called Cericai Limited which seem to be the same brand that was supplied with the saw. These chains are sold in packs of 6 and can be purchased for £10.00 - 12.00 per pack (£1.66 - 2.00 per chain - May 2025).The saw is fitted with a safety switch which needs to be pressed before the trigger to stop accidental operation and possible injury to the user.The supplied product manual is clear and gives you some useful advice on set up, use and how to change the cutting chain.I contacted the seller of the saw regarding the purchase of an additional battery, I received a very quick response and my query was answered in a professional and helpful way.I would highly recommend this saw to anyone who may be considering purchasing the same or a similar type of product.Please be aware that this is a small but powerful saw so please make sure to wear appropriate safety equipment when using it.

I had some shrubs to cut back, too thick for hedge trimmer, too thin for my full size chainsaw.I saw this Peektook 6" chainsaw kit and for the price, it was worth a try.With a year's warranty, two 21v lithium batteries, charger, tools, safety kit, a spare chain and useful storage box with its foam cut out insert, this tool offers unbelievable value.The batteries arrived fully charged and just one had sufficient capacity to complete many cuts from 1cm branches up to 14 cm at the base.The chain, once correctly adjusted (link to video provided in the useful paper manual) and oiled, made all cuts quickly and cleanly without snagging.I trimmed 3 shrubs, (one down to the root) in around 10 minutes.On the thickest cut, about halfway through, I tripped the thermal safety cut out.It does mention this in the manual, telling the user to use short burst cuts to allow the brushless motor to stay cool.It automatically reset on release of the trigger and continued on to finish the job without issue.I can't give enough praise to the design of this tool.Everything is well thought through, down to the handy foam cut out in its top opening box that stores everything securely and tidily.The chain is easy to adjust without tools, there's even a small chain oil container provided (oil itself is not supplied).Designed for one handed operation, the chainsaw is well balanced and lightweight, so does not require much strength to operate.In all this is a really good power tool, well worth 5 stars for it's great value and good performance.I've since used it to do first cuts on some pressure treated framing timber that was too wet for a conventional saw and a few 3" branches on an overgrown conifer in our car park.The latter from the top of a set of steps, with my arm fully extended.No way would that have been possible (or safe) to achieve with a full size chainsaw.The seller communicates very well; a very pleasant bonus!If you're after one of these for light rough cut jobs, you can't go wrong with this one!

This item is surprisingly effective and works way better than I expected. This makes pruning a joy, cuts through in no time. The chainsaw is lightweight, great battery life and a strong chain. It was already set up so I just had to pop on the battery and I was up and running - simple to use. For its small size, power and its abilities it is amazing value for money.

Bought this for one specific demon tree from hell that I've avoided cutting down since we moved in 3 years ago because it's pure evil! No matter where I grab it and what gloves I wear, I would get spiked and stabbed like the entire thing is made of splinters.I did not expect how good this was going to be at getting rid of it, just wanted something to make getting rid of it just a little bit easier than a hand saw and it seriously surprised me cutting through it so easily, perfect size to cut through the branches, some of which were pretty chunky, and enough battery power to get it done over a few hours.One less star than full due to a slight issue with the earth prong on the charger, which is made out of plastic, snapping off sometime in transit, but managed to make it work with some strong super glue and just needing to be careful plugging/unplugging.Before and after of the Tree of Satan attached.

I’ve been using this mini chainsaw as a very effective pruning saw since buying it. It cuts through large branches very smoothly and without any effort. Just make sure you don’t force the saw and only put light pressure while cutting. It comes with 2 batteries and 2 chains as stated and hopefully these will last a while although replacement chains shouldn’t be a big cost. I previously used a hand pruning saw which requires a lot of effort on large branches but this tool sorts out that type of pruning within seconds and with ease. It’s something I should have bought long before now but at this price it was a no brainer. I’m very happy with my mini chainsaw so far and with the 12 month warranty with free replacement what’s not to like about this.
