Great handheld printer
I have started using this handheld printer at a distillery where we need to label boxes with consecutive box numbers. The software was easy to figure out and has worked on full size boxes as well as trays for cans. This is much more cost effective and quicker than printing out hundreds of labels.

Didn't last a year.
Worked great when it did.

Way better than a label maker/printer
The media could not be loaded. I have no idea why you would ever buy a LabelMaker that could easily just peel right off of whatever you’re trying to Mark. The scene home printer has the capabilities to even print images of UPC’s. I use it more tackle boxes just about anything that isn’t a black pigment. It’s comfortable and handed hold a charge forever. It also comes with an ink cartridge, which is very nice.I hope this review and photos are helpful.

Trouble w/ traditional barcodes. Like an ink roller. Big question is replacement cartridges
The media could not be loaded. The basic functions are very easy to use, I was printing within 2 minutes of unboxing. It rolls on like an ink roller, so if you don't have a steady hand, or are printing a long string, then the printing can easily go on crooked. The screen is super tiny, as is the onboard keyboard. It comes with a stylus, but this is not really the intended method of input. The primary intent of this is repetitive work - ie, load a single file (such as a logo), or barcode, or date, etc, that you need printed a hundred times. It's a bit cumbersome to switch between files. And it would be outright tedious to use this as a label maker. It comes with an SD card (non-removable). I don't know the memory capacity. There is no wi-fi, you do everything via cable, USB, or stored memory. They were also kind enough to include a USB thumb drive, but it's only 64MB.The on-board editor has a huge range of built-in functionality. It works as a counter, date stamp, it can do tables, and it can generate any type of barcode you need (QR or standard). You can import any images you need, such as logos.I had some trouble reading barcodes with my barcode scanner. It's a low resolution printer, they come out a bit smudged, much like an ink stamp would. You have to print them pretty large to be readable. I didn't have any problems reading the QR codes. The surface has to be flat or it skips. You need a few inches to the left and right to start printing, this is not for precision printing. If you're printing a long string and run out of space, simply lift up the printer and start again on the next line, it will pick up where you left off.The ink cartridges are pretty expensive to replace, and they really don't hold much ink (27 ml). I looked up this exact cartridge and it's $120 to replace. However, I see similar cartridges that *may* work (I'm not sure) in the $40-50 range. For me this is a big outstanding concern. But if it saves time, then of course it's worth it. And hopefully as these things become more popular, parts will become more affordable. But when not in use, I think it's best practice to remove the ink cartridge, put the protective cover back on, and store it in an airtight ziplock.

Great for tagging items
Works great for putting tags on items in my retail set up. Prints quickly and clearly. Ink dries fast and the images and numbers stay clear. Very easy to carry around to get things done quickly.

Lightweight handheld printer
This is a really good quality handheld printer easy to use, and the price is affordable. You can get color ink cartridges but this printer only comes with black cartridges, you can print on multiple materials really good for small businesses.
