The sticky strap is an good idea. The mats can be used while the seat is up and down.

I love the idea of the product to protect the back of the seats when they are folded down, however with the flap on them that extends the height of the seat back six or so inches it becomes an issue using the rear view mirror.If you never have the seats in the upright position it would be a great product. But having the seats down all the time isn’t practical.

I had a waterproof sheet/blanket type thing I had been folding and keeping in my cargo space. Just to try to keep everything clean. When I saw this precise fitting mat, I knew this was a much better option. Of course the question in my mind was whether or not it would actually fit without cutting or bending. I am pleased to say, that it fits perfectly in the cut out areas and around important hardware. The mat in the back is large and since it’s one piece it has continuous coverage. This is an excellent accessory and one I know I won’t regret buying to protect my liner.

Great quality material and fit as I'd expected them too. I like that the material is thinner and doesn't consume the valuable storage space. Easy to install and I know they will be good protection to the cargo area which is always the first place to show wear in our vehicles.

We don't own a new Carnival...have older near-identical Sedona.Although our Sedona was equipped with both sets of 3-row mats(Kia branded WeatherTech & carpet) we did not have; nor ever sawmats for the 'trunk' floor or especially the back of 3rd row seats!!Still haven't....so took pictures and compared OUR back seats tothe pics in the ad. One seemed identical, same look/shape/positionof the support posts. So I decided to throw the dice...what the heck.Well I'm awfully glad I did. Arrived this afternoon, and I immediatelywent to see how my luck is running. Easily 90-95% success rate!!The only differences is the Carnival 'trunk' must be 1.5" deeper due tohow the flaps between the posts fit in our Sedona. Same with holes forthe strap which drops back of seat to incline/recline position....the top ofthe strap housing lines up perfectly, but the Velcro piece to hold strap inplace is covered up (except for a mere 1/2". Sticks loosely, but I'll eithertrim hole in mat about 1.5" to expose more Velcro OR add another piece.Will wait-n-see about the 'overhang' rising up under in the gaps of postswhich allow seats to be flipped into 'trunk', Still operates smoothly, withno resistance or conflict; simply squelches about 1" of the top of the flap.If no problem persists, then no need to alter; if does, cut horizontal 1" off.Which leads to the 4 vs 5 star review. Unfair to subtract ANY points sincewe own a 2016 Sedona vs 2022-2023 Carnival, but even with a very cleaneven 'chiseled' look with 'overspill raised edge'; it is much thinner materialthan our other rubber mats. Which actually (for us) turns out to be a goodfeature (easily trimmed with scissors) but would be a negative, loss of onestar, if this was for our newer specific year model 2022-2023 Carnival. Alsowould suggest a tad bit thicker/more of/'stickier' Velcro. But we're happy.Did without for years then find something this close...much better than none!!

These were fairly easy to install on the seat backs. These will keep my tent and craft totes from sliding around and tearing the carpet in my van.
