It smokes - DO NOT USE with aputure 600 continuous light!!!
I had bought this to use with my continuous lighting. my aperture 600 is listed as compatible. When I put the reflector XL on the light, it got very hot fast. When I added the magsphere XL with grid to see the quality of light, it started to smoke.It actually left visible char marks on the grid and I’m glad I didn’t leave the room. I worry it could’ve caught fire. I immediately turned off the light and ripped off the magsphere XL and grid. Once it cooled a bit, I took off the reflector XL. But it stayed hot for quite a while even with the light off.I let the company know and they did have someone call to ask me questions and they are going to retest it. So they may just take this off the compatibility list or suggest not using the light at 100%.I will be returning this immediately to Amazon, because I would be too scared to use it or try it again. I am sad because I really wanted this to work well for me.I did not take pictures of the smoking because I needed to take it off immediately. But I did attach a picture of the char that was left behind on the grid (taken a day later to share with magmod).

Light is kind of harsh but its very mobile
The light is not soft like a softbox but makes up for it in versatility . I use it as a back light and it covers a lot of ground

The media could not be loaded. I got a dirty magmod, with stains all over. Never again.
