It's taken me years to find the perfect sandalwood body soap. Dr.Jacob's isn't ideal for me, b/c it doesn't have that dynamic, robust and exotic sandalwood fragrance I was hoping for. However, when I factor in the Castille soap and the mild, gentle and comforting sandalwood fragrance, I have come to like it—in fact, I like it a lot. After showering with this soap, my bathroom smells terrific, and my skin is lightly fragranced almost all day. The soap does not dry my skin, but I apply lotion while my skin is damp. I use a net puff with this soap; the lather is soft, fragrant, and abundant. Rinsing off always gives my skin a squeaky, clean surface that makes me feel like a kid again! So... now, I am ready to re-bottle this and place it in my guest bathroom shower. I have house guests coming next week, and I would love for them to use this daily. I am hoping that they will enjoy using it and ask me about it. The soap arrived packaged well -without any leaking. The caps all worked well, and the bottles had no issues. I highly recommend this product and seller.

I like that this soap has a thicker consistency than Dr. Bronner's label. The scent is soft and subtle, not over powering. Other brands I've tried have left my skin tight, dry, and a white film on my skin after a shower. This does not - my skin is left soft, moisturized and hydrated. I will definitely be buying this again!

Palm oil free, better quality than Dr. Bronner's. However, it is more expensive, the quality of the soap is a lot thicker, and the ingredients are simple. Works well at protecting my skin from dryness from my eczema. The scent I bought was shea butter. I used to buy lavender, and that one was good too, but I love the shea. Smells floral and nutty. Keep in mind it does say bodywash, but it is still multipurpose. You can still use it like bodywash, dishsoap, handwash. laundry, cleaning, whatever you need it for. It suds up very well with just a drop.

I do like the scent, but overall quite sticky when washing with it. Scent does not last long. A little disappointed. Not sure I will purchase again.

I always used Bronner's castile soap, but this tops it. Smells great and easy on the skin.

Lathers up nicely, rinses off without leaving any residue and has a nice smell. Not too strong. Will buy again.

Love the smell. Love the fact that it doesn’t have harsh ingredients. My problem is I had to use way too much as it doesn’t lather that great.
