I recently acquired this RFID Reader that came encased in a sturdy metal case. The reader functions well and has been a reliable addition to my setup. The price point is excellent, making it great value for the money.However, there is one aspect that gives me pause, which is the lack of labels on the device. The reader arrived with a blank exterior, which raises some questions about the product’s authenticity and origin. While this doesn’t affect its performance, it does leave me wondering about the manufacturer’s transparency.Despite this concern, the RFID Reader works just fine and meets my needs. It’s a solid piece of equipment that I would recommend, with the caveat of the missing labels.

First impressions were really good - it's heavy, and has little rubber feet, so it'll sit where you put it and not slide around. It'll read pretty much everything I have - NFC tags, RFID tags, etc. Unfortunately, it reads them incorrectly: read IDs don't match their known values, and it won't read the other fields/labels. I'm sure this is all easily remedied with a configuration tool, but absolutely no instructions, or tool, or link to download such tool are included. That "config card" referenced in the product listing? No such card included. This is a seemingly high quality, well engineered device rendered useless by utter apathy.
