I am one of those people that has to have a fan on in my bedroom to be able to sleep! The one I have was getting old and the cord was not in good condition so it was time to replace it. This little fan seems to be adequate for my needs. It could be used on a desk because of its size, but I use it on the carpet to keep the air from blowing directly on me. It is advertised as very quiet and it does not make a lot of noise. But it makes just enough noise to be soothing to me while I sleep. The price was reasonable and I would recommend it.

This fan is amazing with the size of it. It is great to push the air around. I would say if there was one thing to improve is to have it go one notch lower. I was trying to dry a floor from a leak and it blows across not down. I think over all threaded to use and the durability after it tumbled down the basement steps is great.

It's been a great little fan thus far! Fairly quiet, but enough noise to help me sleep. Helps drown out any background or outside noise, which is perfect since I work overnights and sleep during the day. I wouldn't recommend it for anything larger than a small to medium sized bedroom though. I still use my ceiling fan in addition to this fan, which I have blowing right at me at the foot of my bed. While it's a bit on the pricier side I'd say the build of it is about on par for the price. A little more than what I would've preferred to pay for a small fan, but I also understand that everything has jumped in price now so it's to be expected.

A small one-room (NEXAIR Air Circulator Portable Turbo Fan, 3 Speed Adjustable Desk fan NextAir 7") this fan was perfect for my needs, I only used it 1-5 days a week for less than 2hrs each time. In less than 3 months it crapped out on me. I'm hoping this was an anomaly because I need to order another one. When I ordered it, the reviews were very good with 4.4 out of 347 reviews. And it was higher priced than almost all the other similar fans at $22 all other similar fans were on average $15, and many looked exactly like mine. So if the fan is going to die in such a short time, you might want to buy the cheapest and replace it every three months so, I seen one at $11, I might get it and it might last for years. I do have stuff from Amazon that has lasted many years, I trust Amazon after 10yrs and it has always been an excellent service, sometimes any give product can turn out to be lemon, not their fault.

Took this on vacation & it was nice. It almost felt like you had a full size fan in you.
