Handy
This is a handy tool for the person who needs a wireless option for lights. I used this for my dreambox 2 double crown light and it works like a charm. Now just one click and I'm all lit up. There is a slight delay in the on but the off goes right off. There is the option to mount or not. I did mount mine as I only use it inside my magical box. Highly recommended.

Works great. Looks nice.
I had one of the first kinetic remote light kits with the fake toggle switch. They were expensive back then, but there were not many options before all of the smart switches and Alexa enabled outlets that we have today. It lasted me several years but recently started taking several tries with the wall switch to get it to turn on or off. This GE kit is a fraction of the cost and is much nicer to use, can pull the switch from the plate to use as a separate remote, sits much more flush to the wall to mimic a real electrified switch, and was easy to install. I hope it holds up under heavy use. I would recommend this kit based on my initial impressions.

No more searching for the on/off switch
This is my second one - the first one was so great, I realized that this would be a great solution for my husband's table lamp. The on/off switch is a couple feet down the cord, necessitating fumbling for it between the side table and the bed. This makes it soooo much easier! And love that it is a GE product, too!

Simplicity as a Virtue. No App, no WiFi, just RF.
There are lots of options for "smart switch" or "smart outlet" and most of them were not what I wanted or needed. This one met my functional requirements without any of the fluff.I was pleasantly surprised with the foolishly easy the setup/pairing process. Hold any button down within 5 secs of plugging in. Done. Add another outlet? Do exactly the same thing again! I did 5 all from one remote. The remote can be removed from the wall plate/cradle. Nice for setup, but for my use having it in it's "home" at all times is ideal. I have one mounted in a 2 gang switch plate next to a single gang box. So the remote is mounted to the wall and lined up so the plate fits over both. This makes it blend in better rather than having a second single next to the existing. I had found others that direct mount inside a standard wall box, but this will not as is.The outlet-relay unit is polarized so for me that means the stick up from the wall receptacle. Didnt cause issue for me but could imagine scenarios where that would be annoying.

Works as intended and installed as I wanted it to
I had just installed under cabinet lights in our kitchen. I plugged the lights on the far end of our kitchen but wanted to be able to switch it near the other end. Where the light is plugged in, it was hidden behind a microwave and it's inconvenient to have to use the supplied switch. So looked around here and found this. One thing that I liked about this switch is that the switch itself fits a Decora wallplate and I had the perfect place to put it. So now that the final product is in place, I am very happy with it. If I ever have to replace the battery on the remote, I can just remove the wallplate. And it looks like it was always there. There is a very slight lag from the time you press the ON switch to when the lights actually turn on - noticeable but not annoying. Overall, very happy.

Saved money by buying these remote switches!
I liked how simple it was to install. I chose to mount the switch on the wall where a normal switch would be. So the install was only to mount the switch with two screws and plug in the receiver. I have a Cape Cod style home and the designers thought it would be funny to only have little dinky wall sconces in the two bedrooms upstairs. Which means then that there is no light switch and no wiring run and no space to run wiring to say, an outlet or ceiling light. Whew, lots of words, but...all that to say... Game Changer!!!The switch receiver is not in direct sight to the on/off switch and it works every time! Saved 2k in electrician bills! Wife is happy and I am looking like a rock star😃

Good switch
decided to put this in my daughters bedroom because her room is wired wrong and it takes a lot to figure out which switch does her bedroom light. This product is absolutely amazing it makes it so easy for her to turn her light on and off and she doesn't have to get up to do it. Highly recommend this product
