Good Quality, Poor Quality Control
Build quality and compatibility with LEGO is good, but the set was missing half a dozen pieces.

nice caboose
I just feel like a train needs a caboose even if it isnt practical.

Decent set design, decent parts quality.
TL:DR VERSION : This is a $33 set that only has 123 pieces. That's 26 cents PER PART. Don't get me wrong, this set 'does what it says on the tin' ... but it's absolutely NOT worth the cost of admission. I could easily see this being a good buy at around $15. It'd be "maybe acceptable" at $20.Packaging : This 123 piece set comes in a plastic bag containing the parts and instruction sheet. It is worth noting that this bag is prone to damage, and you might find parts at the bottom of your shipping box (I know I did).Instructions : The instruction sheet is a well-printed double sided sheet of paper. The set is simple enough that this is more than sufficient.Part quality : Part quality is decent. Plastic feels slightly cheap, but parts fit together well. Of note are that the train trucks (wheel assembly) is of the classic 'metal axle' variety and works smoothly.Set design : INCREDIBLY simple. I admit that I am an old hat at building, but this set barely took 15 minutes from start to finish. Even so, the result looks decent, and it's not like a double container car is all that difficult in terms of design to get right.Overall thoughts : Well, you read the TL:DR to get here. IGNORING the glaring problem, this is honestly a pretty solid 'train builder' set to add some rolling stock . . . if you can find it at a reasonable price, that is.

As advertised
Nice car set - interestingly it comes poly bagged but not boxed... makes me think this could be a "break up" from a larger set? No matter - the parts come safe and instructions are included.I'm impressed with the quality of the bricks.... they may not be "LE__" OEM - but, they have the right colors, which is more than some off brand sets I've seen. The car itself looks good with my other "building brick" trains from a certain manufacturer.Overall - I'd say this set is "ok" for the price point, but not a screaming value.

really cool for the price
When I noticed that the wheels attached directly to the car and didnt pivot I was afraid it wouldnt take corners but it does. I added a video it isnt great but I havent seen any others on amazon. with the added truck and trailer this is really fun. it said no figures but mine came with some long torso lego guys.
