I don't have space (or knowledge) for a big sewing machine. This is perfect for the odd repair job.

This is very hard to use and seems flimsy. Don't waste your money.

Very good works great but then it stopped working again so I had to manually sew the other side but other then that it exceeded my expectations.

I'm not a professional, but I do know enough about my own regular sewing machine to know that this device could be improved. I did read the reviews ahead of time so I was aware it was only for small repairs, but the instructions aren't great and the tension know has no indications on it (eg. numbers) of how how tight or loose it is so took a bit of finagling to get it working. Additionally, what kind of sewing machine doesn't a lower bobbin to secure the stitching? THAT part, I unfortunately missed in my research, otherwise I probably wouldn't have purchased it. But I am just going to keep that in mind when using it and will only be using it for TINY projects.

This works exactly for what it’s made for, quick repairs. I read reviews complaining about it doesn’t do this or that, you need to make a quick repair on a split pair of pants? Done! You want to sew a quilt? Not going to happen. But for small things quickly and on the go it works just fine. It’s worth not doing small repairs by hand.
