And that is the way they say it in Scotland. A nice tasting orange/vanilla flavor soft drink. Wildly popular there, a little expensive here, but fun to have a few around.

It's a little on the pricey side
It has a unique taste. In Europe the serve it cool. Not ice cold. I like it every now then. Close to the taste of a cream soda

Irn-Bru ended up being my comforting thought
I was reading a book of tomfoolery and the topic of “what makes you Scottish” (or any other nationality for that matter) and was wholeheartedly amused with the take Daniel Sloss had which included a very poignant description of Irn Bru.My own sample set is limited to the 5 cans I was left with after gifting two to my children and losing one during shipment (made for a good Elf on the Shelf accessory and lent the elf plenty of bragging rights) however:It’s definitely worth drinking. (I want more)It has no direct US soft drink comparison but based on what I’ve observed it isan orange brewmade of magical ingredientsproduces a sensory experience for the pallet not dissimilar to rainbows, laughter or the pure satisfaction of smiling at yourself in the mirror and knowing you win at life.That’s Irn Bru.

Authentic (Non-US) Version of the Classic
Great stuff. Authentic UK version of the soda with the proper UK formulation (contains Ponceau 4R). Couple of the cans were slightly dented but didn’t adversely affect the soda.

Artificially sweetened when advertised as sugar.
First of all, I love Irn Bru from the UK.But I hate the flavor of aspartame. It ruins anything you add it to.So I very carefully looked at the list of ingredients shown in the photo of the product. You can see that it shows only sugar as a sweetener.But the cans which were sent to me listed "Other Sweeteners" in the ingredients including aspartame.And just to add insult to injury, this product is listed as No Refund, No Return.So I am stuck with a six pack of nastiness which I did not order, cannot use and cannot return.Caveat emptor.
