Classic design
I wanted a simple diner style coffee mug. this one is very well made and has a classic diner design. The wall is thick as some have noted but it actually helps keep the coffee hot for a longer period of time. I consider that a good trade off.

Just like the ones at the old cafe
Well made. 10 oz is just the right size. Keeps the drinks warm and is practically indestructible. My only comment is that the cup wall is so thick I have to be careful not to leave drips on my lips between sips.

Hard to find black diner mugs
Black diner mugs aren't easy to find in this weight and quality. These are perfect. They don’t chip easily, are a good weight and size. Perfect for morning coffee.

It's not at all scratch resistant
Very poor quality. Not at all dishwasher safe as every time i put it in the dishwasher it get scratched
