I received the camera today and installed it on my wife’s 2013 Ford Fusion hybrid. Externally it looks exactly like the OEM component. Not too bad of a job. You have to go slow so you done break any plastic pieces. Goes back together much quicker than it came apart. When testing the new camera the angle of vision is is a little wider and the lines look different from the original but it all works , even the white turning lines turn with the steering wheel. SoFar I’m very happy with this purchase.

My 2013 Ford Fusions backup camera has been working off and on for over a month. When it is was not working a message came on the screen saying see the dealer so I dropped the car off at the dealer. Dealer calls back the next day to say the camera is bad and the cost for camera and labor is $1,000 AND the camera is on a nationwide backorder so I said no thanks and went to pick up the car. I paid $140 for the diagnostics but at least that pointed to the camera and not wiring or the Ford Sync system. When I got back home I checked on Amazon and found this camera and read the reviews. I liked what I read and for just under $60bought it. I saw a video on how to install it. It took a total of less than 40 minutes to take off trunk liner, remove outer tail lights and trim cover to get to the camera. I unplugged the old camera and plugged this new one in and I was very surprised at the quality of the video. It even has the lines like the original one did. No programming was necessary, just unplug the old camera and plug in the new one.Can't beat the 12 month warranty too. I am so happy I found this camera on Amazon and saved $1,000.

I purchased the Ford Edge with the backup camera not working. I bought this off brand backup camera from Amazon and installed it. It has worked perfectly from day one and cost 1/3 of what I would have paid if I got it from Ford. The backup lines and grid show perfectly in the view on my touch screen console. For now, it works perfectly. Hopefully it will continue to work as well.

Easy to install and has great image quality. Seems a bit bright.Wider angle than original. Not saying that is a bad thing.Only have had it a week, so I cannot speak to how long it will last.

Had to remount a 2nd time but I don’t think it was the fault of the camera as it exactly matched the OEM camera. The work in mounting the camera is not easy. But, that is the fault of Ford. The Delear wanted $850.00 to install a new backup camera and now I see why. Instead of designing a sealed accessible mounting box to access the camera easily, Ford’s designer made the drawings up either after a nightmare or as an afterthought. The Lincoln MKC is not easily fixable with anything!Anyway, I got the job done with help from my buddy YouTube. The camera has been working fine but there is no way that the + sign shows like it use to. However, it’s not really needed. It works visually good for backing up. Had to use a heat gun to soften the plastic mount, not the camera, so it would seat all the way. This is only for skilled persistent handymen. Reflecting back, $850.00 was likely worth it vs attempting to do this job. I honestly felt no great accomplishment doing the replacer, other then the conclusion that the Ford designer of the backup camera should be fired on the spot or be relegated to replace these devices as punishment for life.

Replacing the explorer rear camera is very easy. I installed this one, and it worked, confirming that the camera was the problem. However, the image quality was so poor I couldn't see if I was too close to something, or to hitch up my trailer. These cameras have a fixed white curved line which is supposed to move with your turn, but doesn't. That is not a big deal to me, but let's you know that every brand od chep camera is the same. I upgraded to the Dorman, which is half the cost of Ford, but the image quality is very good

The camera works great, it's not an easy replacement as it does require some work to replace. It definitely takes a little time, patience and skill

Camera is really clear, but it isn’t centered with the guide lines. I like using the lines cause it helps you to align and center the car especially when backing into a parking space. It took me a while to figure it out but the lines are off from the center of the car. I thought it was just me, but if you look at the review of others who shared videos, theirs are off center too. If you look in my image, the center of the line is off center from the middle of the trunk handle and license plate. Planning to return it and try another one.Worth adding I have a 2014 Escape Titanium

This is my 2nd purchase as a replacement. So far working. The first one failed within 2 weeks.

I cannot find where to report a technical problem and obtain customer technical support from the dealer. So I am trying a comment on the purchase. In the other threads they mention that the correct camera was then sent without the White dynamic lines. Otherwise the camera is super good picture quality much better than the original. Please advise.......

Ford fusion 2014 had it put on....does the job but nowhere near as good resolution as oem. Color is like 240p or 1990s convenience store camera footage. It's whatever does the job. Get what u pay for. Oem is 382 bucks cdn min all the way to 550 bucks depending on dealership

The video stream is a high quality as you can see in posted photo, which is something I appreciate, but after programming the camera I was not able to get rid of the extra lines (Dynamic Lines are static showing in White).I hope the camera would last for long time, as my previous camera lasted for 1 year only.
