LXSINO Smart LED WiFi Controller DC5-24V 4 Pin Output for Colour Changing (+GRB) LED Strip Lights Compatible with Alexa/Google Home (Only Work with 2.4GHz WiFi)

These devices are great value for money. I retro fitted to some kitchen LED strips with the WiFi controller in place of the existing remote control box. Downloaded the Magic home app from Android store, all tested OK. I then enabled the Magic Home skill on my Alexa app and I can now control using voice commands including colour changes.

I had ordered this controller for a light strip which was left after cutting from a bigger one. Like a lot of people have mentioned that the app is unable to connect to wifi i too faced the same issue. Thought the money's gone down the drain i mailed the vendor for support and within half an hour i received a mail from someone named duke with instructions on how to reset the controller and it worked in the first attempt. I have attached the image fo resetting it for anyone having the same issue. I am using virgin broadband and have got 2.4/5Ghz enabled. its only one day but i would give full marks for the excellent product support.

Works really well... Sometimes loses wifi connection though.

Great price for a clever item - once programmed it is able to turn on and off my led strip lights and change colour by voice command - using my google home speaker system.No longer need to find and operate the led lights with remote control - all operated by voice commands.Took a few attempts to get the app to work with google home but once set it works well.I would recommend this product.

Item does not work, the wifi network did not appear after applying power. It doesn't help that the instructions do not accurately describe (I'm an electronic engineer) whether the centre pin is positive or not (the DC plug, not the LED connector). I have tried both ways after guessing the first time and finding it didn't work. I would not be surprised if it the device did not feature reverse protection, but what should I have done? Three people ask this question in item listing and not one of the replies was correct. The seller was contacted (via the email address they left in response to a question), once it was discovered that the item didn't work, got no reply.

I bought 2 of similar devices from Ebay, neither of them worked, they would originally connect to the wifi, but before even completing installation they failed to work.I got a refund off Ebay, so I thought I'd try these on Amazon.I bought one & it worked perfectly, quick easy setup etc, connected to Alexa etc - brilliant.So I bought the second one I needed. It didn't work, setup was not easy, it did eventually connect to Alexa, but within 10mins or so it went offline/unresponsive. several resets/setup etc & it would not stay connected. I returned it for a Third. This was exactly the same as the last one, useless, again returned.Maybe I was lucky with the first one as that continues to work as it should. Given 3* in view one worked.

I bought this product for the LED strip I have on my desk as the previous controller broke. This controller works exactly as advertised and it’s easy and straightforward to use as long as you read the user manual , I am 100% satisfied , would recommend.

I have bought lots of these.....not worth the trouble sending them back, but they keep failing.After a few weeks they lose their wifi connection and it seems I have to reconnect them with a manual process
