FN955 1TB NVMe SSD M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4, Up to 7300MB/s, 3D NAND TLC Flash Internal Solid State Drive, Configure SLC Cache, Storage and Memory Expansion for PS5 Laptop Desktop

I got this product to replace the old 1TB SSD in my ASUS Rog Zephyrus G14. I'm a software programmer and was consistently running out of space on my laptop. However, I didn't exactly want to pay a lot of money for a Samsung SSD, and this SSD was on sale for $160 for 4TB. I thought it could be a bit fishy, but considering the feedback that was already received, I thought this SSD was worth the investment. I went for the 7350MB/s model because paying extra for +50MB/s seemed pointless, and my laptop would probably not see a big difference between the two models. Upon receiving the SSD, I thought cloning would be hard. I used a simple M.2 enclosure from best buy to facilitate the transfer, along with some online software I found.Installing was as simple as discharging my hands, opening up the laptop, and plugging the new SSD in. Upon rebooting my laptop, the bit-level clone on this new SSD worked first-try, so I didn't need to reinstall Windows or any other programs. Unity now builds my projects about 3x faster and programs that took a couple seconds to open up now open instantly. The SSD is even at 2% usage maximum when playing a game. I loaded up World of Warcraft and saw a drastic increase in my FPS, and cranked up the textures in Fortnite to "Epic" and still saw an increase in performance from when I previously ran the game on "Medium" textures.In conclusion, this SSD is a lot better than other M.2s on the market and didn't require extra drivers. To clone my data, I opened up the disk partitioner and initialized the disk in partition-table format, then created a single new volume on it. From there, I was able to identify the disk in the downloaded cloning software, which made more partitions on the drive and then cloned it. Cloning 1TB (minus 156gb) of data took about 30 minutes, then I shut down the computer and replaced the drive. Upon installation, the PC immediately booted up normally and I didn't have to install any software. A driver prompt appeared at first which I accepted, and after 1 restart, the only thing different with my PC was the new storage space and some crazy speed from this new SSD.I definitely recommend this, solid 10+1 out of 10.Edit (2024-02-15): I liked this SSD so much that I ordered another 4TB model for my new workstation desktop!!! I like it when tech works out of the box with no hassle. 3.68 Tb showing, as expected. Seems quite fast, but I'm not a pro. I'm not a pro but I can plug in fragile things carefully, that's all you need.

This thing is very very fast and the price of this makes a it a steal. I used it for my ps5 and it recognized it immediately and I have installed and played some games on it and have not had any issues. I highly recommend you will pay $30 or more for other brands.

Not a well know brand so I was cautious. However performance and capacity as advertised. Excellent value for money.

This product was worth the price. It was easy to install and best of all it works.

Wasn't sure about taking a gamble on a no name brand like this but when I saw the deal for a 4tb drive for $190 I decided to risk it and try it out for my PS5, reading over 6500mb/s on the console, even if that's not the most accurate, the PS5 is recognized it right away and formatted it quickly along with moving 350gb worth of games over to it in about a minute

Install was straight forward and price wasn't too bad (though it was on sale). My ps5 is enjoying the extra space and so far hasn't melted down or anything. Will change if something catastrophic happens.

Da ich Bewertungen für Datenträger erst nach einer gewissen Vorlaufphase sinnvoll erachte, bewerte ich diese NVMe SSD erst jetzt, nach ca. 10 Monaten Nutzung im täglichen Betrieb.Die FikWot FN955 habe ich in 4TB Kapazität am 22.12.2023 gekauft, nutze diese als zusätzliches Datengrab und bis dato mit ca. 70TB lesend / 116TB schreibend belastet. Verbaut ist diese seit dem ersten Tag der Nutzung auf einen MSI Z690 ACE, Chipsatz angebunden in Slot M2_4 mit Lane Konnektivität PCIe4.0x4. Erfreulicherweise hatte ich bis zum heutigen Tage keinerlei Probleme mit dieser SSD!Auch wenn diese keinen DRam Cache besitzt und nur den HMB Mode (Host Memory Buffer) nutzt, merkt man praktisch kaum bis keinerlei Unterschiede bei sequentiellen Kopiertransfers über mehrere 100GB am Stück. Dies haben auch eigene Messergebnisse anhand meiner anderen NVMe SSDs, u.a. auch einer WD 850X 2TB, so bestätigt. Hier war die FN955 sequentiell immer auf Augenhöhe der WD, teils sogar dieser überlegen. Anders schaut es natürlich bei Random Zugriffen aus, hier macht sich dann das Vorladen des Mapping im SSD eigenen (DRam) Caching bemerkbar.Nur seien wir mal ehrlich: Wer bitteschön kauft sich einen 4TB Datenträger um darauf ständig kleinere Dateifragmente @ random zu transferieren bzw. diese als OS Datenträger einzusetzen, wo u.U. auch ein erhöhter Randomzugriff erfolgt? Ich denke mal kaum jemand bis niemand.Mein Fazit: Für den Einsatzzweck wofür diese SSD gedacht ist, erfüllt diese auch nach rund 10 Monaten Nutzung noch vollauf mit Bravour ihre Aufgaben, ist dabei sehr schnell und gehört auch vom verbauten NanD her (232-Layer 3D-NanD von YMTC) mit zu den modernsten Datenspeichern am Markt. Überhaupt hinterläßt diese SSD -bisher- einen sehr guten und äußerst zuverlässigen Eindruck und bleibt selbst bei hoher Schreiblast relativ kühl.

Disco duro SSD M.2 de 2 TB muy rapido, adjunto foto CrystalDiskMark donde se ven velocidades de lectura de 7000 MB/s y de escritura de 6500 MB/s. Lleva pegado un adhesivo para enfriar el SSD, he comprobado que la temperatura oiscila entre 40º y 50º. Además viene con destornillador y y el tornillo de fijación. Es el segundo disco que compro de esta marca. Muy contento.

Sehr gute Preis-Leistung, schnell und ohne Probleme zu installieren. Würde automatisch erkannt und konnte sofort genutzt werden.
