The Hemptation is real.
- dog calming chews DELICIOUS dog calming treats that work for stress sad home alone relief ORGANIC calming dog treats BEST dog calming products dog anxiety relief dog calming tablets that work CHICKEN -These calming dog chews are the real deal and have quickly become an evening staple for my Whippet. They are a bit more expensive than I'd usually pay for treats, but a container lasts for a long time. She gets two per night, and I rotate with other 'calming' type treats that don't contain hemp. This keeps her from depending on them too much or becoming particular/fussy, and it also helps bring the cost down. They are also great to have on hand for things like fireworks or vet visits. She's generally out for the count within five minutes.A worthwhile investment, recommended.

It works
Ordered these as a couple of my chihuahuas hate fireworks or any loud noises, have been using them about 3wk, and with a few bangs we have had, it’s a miracle, would definitely recommend

Works well
My dog is normally stressed about using the subway because of the noise and after I started using this treats I noticed that she is calmer, more relaxed and I believe it is working very well for her.I confess that even I am more relaxed with her attitude and we are using public transport more, but now without much stress.I would recommend it.

Got to be worth a try for the upcoming bonfire/Divali/NYE celebrations
Our little cockapoo does *not* like the fireworks and each year we've tried a variety of things to keep her calm with all the noise. With that and the constant door knocking for Hallowe'en, we've got a whole lot of barking going on.Figured these would be worth a try if she likes them and gets on with them so have offered and see how we get on.They seem tasty enough with her taking it without comment and wolfing it down so although it's an indirect measure, I'd say they are fine for taste. The sealed container is a bonus to keep them fresh and they do have a long shelf life so it's unlikely they'll go off before you reach the end of the tub.At 22p per chew, these are not your average treat and given the dosing requirements (max chews/day differs depending on the size of your pooch) they shouldn't be used for rewards and are best considered a form of medication. The melatonin at 4mg/chew is about what the average US consumer gets in their gummies for human consumption and there are other ingredients which have been shown to aid sleep. In practice, I noticed that our little companion is a bit more mellow but it's early days and I want to see if it is better to give her a regular dose or just give her the chews on days we know are going to be bad, noise wise.

The dog likes these.
The Dog really likes these! If the metric is palatability, these ChickenFlavour chew-treats are great! What can I say about the effectiveness? The selling point is "Clalming".With Hemp, Passionflower, Chamomile, Valerian root and other ingredients.Time is needed to judge the effectiveness of any supplement fairly, but my first impressions are broadly good based on my experience with comparable chews.I have been using similar products for a couple of months now and am familiar with the claims made about the main active ingredients. I advise anyone purchasing any supplement to research its claims beforehand and ensure that it suits them or their pet, as individual needs and suitability may vary. As well as to establish whether the claims made about the product are valid.Hemp oil has helped my old sporting injuries, and I think Hemo is helping my older dog jog along, too.I must address the price point: £21.95 or 22p per chew.I admit when I first saw this metric, this type of dog treat seemed expensive, beef steak expensive...However, I then considered the cost of this item per chew to dog against supplements per does - sold for the same general purpose. Say an Amazon search term "hemp tablets for dogs".At approximately 22p per treat, this product is comparable to other supplements. However, there is a considerable spread of prices, both for traditional pills and powders and these chew-treat supplements.Similar hemp-based calming treats are for sale here on Amazon, which cost less per chew; I would advise the penny-wise compare prices and ingredients. In conclusion, I'd say, as a treat, palatability is everything. Yet palatability is also crucial to a supplement - because no matter how good the active ingredients are, these can't do any good -- if the dog won't eat the pill or powder.Suppose I have to use something tasty to hide the pill or powder? Then, my saving a few pence per dose would quickly become a false economy. So, the Dog is, perhaps, right to like these.
