Like a good round brush, but holds tons more water/pigment. Has a very expressive tip, I’m having a lot of fun with it! Worth the modest price.

I was looking for Sable brushes and came across over all good reviews about this product. The packaging is impressive and so does the neatly packed bristles of each brush. They hold so much water that quickly drying watercolor papers with lesser % of cotton complement the wet-on-wet technique beautifully. One disadvantage of high water holding capacity is that you loose chunk of colors while washing your brush. The fine tips are excellent for painting narrow edges - I have shared a part of my recent work where I used #0 for the fine details. The numbering are different - I was not expecting the #0 working like #4 or #6 !! Also, I found few bristles came off as soon as I started painting - not sure if anybody has experienced the same with this product or if I made any mistake while using it.

I do quite a bit of painting with watercolors. I always grab these now. They have never disappointed me yet. They hold a good amount of water and allow me to control the flow easily enough.I can get a pretty good thin lines with these when needed too due to their shape. The handles are still like new after using them almost daily for a few months. The best part I want to share is that they just do not shed much at all! Highly recommend these.

Great quality for the price! A lil shedding but nothing I can’t handle! Became my new favorites for loose and wet on wet techniques!! Dry brushing makes for great trees!!
