Buying another.
I use this all the time now, easy to use (after spending some time trying to interpret the instructions which are pretty poor). I reckon battery life is about 2 hours on a full charge, enough for me. Handle bar mount bracket is secure with a straightforward release mechanism. Needs a micro SD card. Wind noise is an issue on recordings.

Very poor product.
Charging indicator light doesn't work, so no idea if charged or not.Doesn't turn on when connected to PC as my other identical, in all but name, camera does.Set to record for test but recorded pictures instead of video although the slider was set to video. After this one operation the record button stopped working.I guess this was a Friday build and QA had gone home for the day!!!Returned for refund.

Bon investissement.

Maybe this will help y'all
For what it's worth, this an an awesome camera! It's small and discrete (fits in the palm of your hand).Supposing it's waterproof up to I think 9meters.It records in 3 minute intervals.pQuality is not of top notch, but is extremely well for a low priced HD camera. Graphics are good, tho sometimes there's a slight lag in 1080p (not sure about 720p because I don't use low quality filming). It has a picture taking option but I don't use that feature. It's super simple to operate.Mine had a newer software which had time.bat instead of sport DV which isn't upgradable (firmware). The time/date thing wasn't working properly and I wasn't able to correct it using their script. I figured out how to disable that feature but I wanted to have the proper time/date stamp for legal purposes.Upon execution of the time.bat file it's suppose to auto update the time/date stamp, but it failed to do so for me.Other then the time/date stamp issue, I was relatively impressed with this camera. The sound quality w/o the end cap on is great, but w/ the end cap on it's greatly noticeably reduced (but who cares unless you're trying to make a documentary or something). The battery fully charge time supposing lasts approx. 2.5hrs which isn't too bad. Charge time I think was 2-4hours - but it auto shuts off once fully charged. The quality and feel of the camera overall seems good and the mounts it comes with seems pretty good. I utilized the handle bar mount and I'm impressed with how sturdy it is. You can be cruising along and pushing buttons and the camera will stay in position.Only issue I had with the mount was due to the setup I had to mount it upside down, but it worked. As for their customer service was of no help what soever, not to mention took an unreasonably long time to respond back (48hrs) compared to the avg. seller then eventually provided me with a useless answer which I had already tried and knew about. They need to update their batch file on this prior to sending them out,Oh and another thing they failed to mention (unless I had somehow missed it) it comes with a foreign plug in. Unless you live in China or some country which uses the same type of plug in, you'll either need to obtain an adapter or use the usb port to charge the camera.I just switched the plug in to a north-American plug in and it worked fine,As for rectifying the time/date stamp issue, I created a batch file, and overwrote the factory version. Updated my hardware and bang! Now it works as intended!Very satisfied with this product now, but was a pain in the ... to correct the batch file issue.YouTube won't help you unless you have the SportDV version which has a firmware update, if you have the newer software don't bother wasting your time trying the firmware update because it won't work with the newer software.Anyways hope this review helps in helping you make an informed decision. If you're not technical and you don't care about the time/date issue, but you want the incorrect stamp info to disappear, simply execute the time.bat file and after it creates the time.txt file open it and add "N" to the end of the stamp and it'll disable it.Yupp, I'm that good :)andyways have fun. Peace Out!
