They feel very fragile, but so far they've stood up, and I'm a bit of a bull in a china shop at times, so I think they'll more than suffice as bedside pendant lights!I had ordered them crossing my fingers the actual shade portion was a universal size, and sure enough, I lucked out! I wanted black hardware and cables, and I was able to purchase universal pendant kits at my local big box store, which these fit right onto! Yay standards!!My only gripe is that the overlap seam is REALLY wide compared to a typical fabric shade. It's about 2" wide and creates a noticeable darker stripe on one side of the shade when the light is on. Mine are close to a wall, so I was able to turn that portion to the rear and not see it, but if you put these out in the middle of a room, it's something to consider. Not docking any stars as I was able to make it work for me, but wanted to mention it as it may impact how you use the pendant.The value is phenomenal here. Even discarding the included hardware in favor of a black version, these are amazingly inexpensive. The base being a standard size makes these incredibly versatile! The shades could even be turned upside-down and used on a small table lamp or torchiere with a threaded base and nut type retainer. Not compatible with harp/finial type lamps.Highly recommend!

This lamp cover is so nice looking, nice bamboo texture. The vibe is like going on vacation to bali. I got two of this for my master bedroom. The price is on a higher end to my opinion.

Wow gorgeous!!! Bought for our kitchen island. Lots of complements. Only negative is that its made of paper and light weight wood. However! It is gorgeous, well made, easily installed and price is great. So if i must replace n a couple of yrs.. not a problem. By then i may want a new look?

It looks crudely made, but the effect is good. The only very bad thing is that the bracket for hanging the bulb is not balanced, causing the whole lamp to tilt, affecting the overall appearance. People with poor hands-on ability are not recommended to buy it.

We are renovating our guest house n a tight budget for my parents to move into. They have high standards! We ALL love these pendant lights. They are the perfect blend of classic and modern. Truly timeless. Easy to install, really look expensive but were actually a great value. If only all the renovation decisions were this simple! They came quickly and very well packaged. Looove them.

We were looking for something that gives our kitchen a beachy natural feel. This pendant is exactly that. It arrived quickly and nicely packaged. The bamboo shelf is study and elegant. Beautiful light wood color and when the light is on, it gives a soft warm glow. We love the look so much we are looking to add them to our bedroom. The price is much cheaper for similar products we saw at the store.
