Low priced, lightweight mic stand...very portable and does what it's supposed to do. Don't expect a heavy duty piece of equipment, this is not it. Treat it gently, don't over tighten any parts, works best if mic is straight up...This is not a boom stand, so you can vear only so much from center before it tips over, but in 90 pct of cases should be enough.If you've been using heavy duty booms for decades like I have, you'll know how many times the skin on your fingers will get caught in sliding parts...very painful. This won't happen with this product. Comes with its own small carrying bag.Again, it's portability is great especially when your bringing guitar stands, music stands and other equipment.I'm very satisfied.

I was surprised of how light and easy to assemble this stand is. Small footprint and stable. No heavy base which I always stub my toes to. A simple yet unique design. I just used it and it feels great to have a mic stand again. Very good product for the price.

Heavier pod mics will have a problem due to this stand not being very heavy. It does the job, just be careful.

I read some complaints about sturdiness. But I don’t see it. Of course I’m sitting a chair and using it to Mike and acoustic bass. And it works real well for that. Very happy good price. I would buy one again.
