Luxurious King Size Bed Frame with 62" Headboard, Upholstered Platform Bed with Velvet Upholstery & Deep Button Tufted Wingback Headboard/No Box Spring Needed/Cream

I am in the process of redoing my bedroom, and I knew I wanted a bed with tall headboard. I had a really difficult time finding anything with a headboard taller than 53”. When I saw this bed had a headboard height of 62” (and an actual footboard!) I had to have it.I ordered on a Tuesday and it came that Saturday. I am a middle aged lady with average upper body strength and I was able to assemble this on my own. Everything was labeled really well, including the hardware. I do think the assembly would have gone a lot faster if I’d had a second person to help for some of the steps, but they are all doable by one person. It took me 90 minutes; I think 2 people could knock this out in under an hour. The most annoying part is attaching the wings to the side of the headboard — that part is annoying to do solo, but would be a cinch with a second pair of hands.The finished product is stunning and reasonably sturdy. One exception is the headboard — it's not super wobbly, but if you grab it and try to move it does move back and forth. I attribute this to the height, but it's truly not relevant unless I grab it and intentionally move it. Therefore, not worth deducting a star over.I’m also very pleased with the cream color of the velvet. It has a subtle warmth and dimension to it that doesn’t really come through in the product photos, but looks lovely in person. If you’ve been looking for a bed with a truly tall headboard, your search is over. This is the one.UPDATE: This bed easily accommodates an adjustable bed. I bought an Ergo adjustable base to go with my new TP mattress, and it came with adjustable-size legs as well as the option to remove the legs and use as zero clearance. I opted to use the 12" legs and remove the wood slats (easy since they're velcroed on!), because this was the sturdiest and most stable approach. Using the 12" legs instead of the shorter legs allowed me to keep the metal crossbars in the frame, ensuring the sturdiness of the bed frame. It's perfect.

UPDATE: We’ve had this bed for 9 months now and I am still absolutely in love with it. It’s still as sturdy as the day we got it, doesn’t make any noise, makes our room look luxurious, and is even easy to keep clean (our dog got ahold of our daughter’s chocolate milk and spilled it all over the footboard - it wiped up with zero problems and no staining).ORIGINAL REVIEWWe’ve been wanting to replace our junky, wobbly, squeaky headboard with a more solid bed frame for quite awhile but were always held back by cost or lack of quality, not to mention something that fit our style. Most of the beds I came across, both on Amazon and elsewhere, have headboards that are quite low in overall height. I like the appearance of a taller bed with more presence as opposed to low-profile, and I finally came across this gem of a bed. The lack of reviews made me nervous, as I didn’t quite know what I was getting into, but because of the price on one of Amazon’s Prime Deals days, I decided to bite the bullet.The bed came in two separate shipments, but still managed to beat the earliest expected delivery date by 3 days. I will warn you, there are A LOT more pieces than I ever thought a bed could come in. It took my husband just over an hour to build, and he did complain about some of the holes not being drilled right and some of the screws being broken. That being said, when it finally came together, it was SOLID. No more wonky headboard with a squeaky metal bed frame for us!This bed is big, beautiful, and exactly what I had hoped for. We are opting to use a boxspring with it because our mattress isn’t tall enough, and again, I like beds with presence - not ones that are basically on the ground. The fabric of the headboard and footboard is extremely soft, and not overly shiny as some of the others were that I looked at. I do wish the nailheads were gold or copper vs silver, but that’s a tiny sacrifice for what is otherwise a spectacular buy.I would not hesitate to recommend this bed so far. Obviously time will tell how it holds up, but I don’t see that being a problem based on the sturdiness upon building.

I love tall headboards. This brings an elegance to our room. I feel as if it is timeless. It is very sturdy. The only complaint that I had was that it came with an extra piece and an extra set of instructions for a different bed frame. I found that to be very weird. The actual building of the bed frame was very easy.

I am beyond happy with this purchase. Everything was so well made. All the holes lined up the way they are supposed to, easy to assemble. Did it all on my own. Such an elegant look, the only negative is that it does have a little hint of a blue tone. But overall beyond happy with this purchase

i took my time picking out this bed. this bed had one defect and it was that the holes were in the wrong place. if youre not an experienced handyman, you will torture yourself assembling this bed. highly recommending hiring smb else & telling them that there’s a defect that they have to try to fix. other than that, really beautiful bed, it’s given me so much confidence. exactly what i was looking 444 ❤️.

This bed is absolutely STUNNING!! Im so happy with this purchase! It's not the most sturdy construction. (But we went from a solid wood bedframe to this.) For the price, it's great!! It was easy to put together. I'm absolutely obsessed! Just walking in my room makes me happy because the bed is so pretty!

I was looking for a bold hefty bed for a large room and this fit the bill. The headboard is very high, which I LOVE with my tall ceilings. It was easy to put together, all screws lined up, and it looks exactly as advertised. It is very sturdy as well. I added a metal box springs because the mattress sat too low on the slats for my liking. I’m tall so take that with a grain of salt. It comes in two boxes which arrived together quickly. One is extremely heavy. Like I said it is a hefty and sturdy bed. I had one small issue but the seller was super responsive and helpful. The issue was small and they were awesome. I couldn’t be happier with my new bed frame or with my interaction with the seller.
