Keep it clean and it will lastFirst time going to the beach, bought this umbrella for San Diego and it saved us from high winds and was wonderful during calm days. So easy to intl and dismantle. This was perfection for price and functionality!

We've used this umbrella on several trips to the beach now and it has done a great job. There were a couple times when it was really windy and I was worried, but it stayed anchored and the umbrella didn't turn inside out or bend. It is very convenient to have the sand screw attached to the umbrella and the post that slides into the base makes it very easy to twist into the sand. It has great UV blocking too. I burn very easily, but as long as I stay under the shade of the umbrella I don't have any problems.

Easily fit in our trunk - we have a Mazda CX-5. Lightweight and easy to carry to the beach. Assembles easy- one person can do it. Stays secure in heavy wind. We’ve used once so far so hoping it lasts many years

We bought one of these and it lasted only 2 beach trips. On the third, the tilting mechanism failed and the umbrella would not function properly. We asked for a refund, but they sent us a new umbrella instead. The tilting mechanism failed and the umbrella bent almost immediately, and it was only a very light breeze. Do not buy this product, invest in a better rated and more tried and true brand. This is an extraordinarily shabby product, you are better served taking a regular umbrella to the beach and holding it above you then using this one.

I bought it for use when it's just me and my son at a local beach club. It was very easy to put up myself. I like the built in anchor for less items to have to bring with me. The umbrella itself is not the sturdiest- it did turn inside out on a strong wind. And it did come out of the sand once. I know how to use an anchor so it wasn't like I did it wrong. But for the money- I knew I wasn't buying a super strong umbrella either. I was buying convenience. It also definitely faded pretty quickly. But again- convenience. It did the job. I only used it a handful of times- I doubt it would last more than one full summer season if you were using it a lot/daily.

This umbrella is the best! We took it on vacation to Panama City, FL. June 19 - 23, 2019. The first day we were there the wind gusts would hit 20+ mph. The umbrella never inverted! The other days the winds were between 10-15 and it was no problem at all. The shade was perfect for all 3 of us and between the umbrella's SPF 100 and our sunscreen, we were not burned at all! I highly recommend this umbrella for your beach trip!

This is a well constructed umbrella that we use all the time on our patio in a base we also bought on Amazon. I took off the pointed end to use the base. The umbrella takes a lot of wind without a problem and works great for providing shade in our southern exposure location. Highly recommend.
