It's more than five stars than that, to me it's a 10!! Or possibly over that!! It can save your life!!! One day, gave me light gowing to bed and getting out ove bead & charge your phone if battery is lowe & its strong & safe if you drope it its note gowing to brayck or if dropte in a lacke or a creeck!!! Great dependable light charges up in a USB port, overnight and a back up battery for your cell phone!

The capacity of this rechargeable external battery is as high as I’ve seen, about TWICE as much as others.The first time you charge it, use a wall adapter and plug it into an outlet.AFTER it’s fully charged, you can keep it topped up by using the built-in solar cell.If you start off on “empty”, the built-in solar cell is very, very slow.From a full charge, the extra powerful unit will fully charge a smart phone at least twice, maybe three times.

Works well. Very much worth the money. Will definitely be buying more for the rest of the family.

Takes a good 25 hours in the sun to fully charge . Does charge from like 20 % to full in 3 hours . So i cant use it daily.

It's been sitting in the sun for weeks and won't charge. If you lose the grid permanently, how do you charge it? I mean if you lose electricity for a few hours and are to lazy to plug a device into your car, you can charge an iphone or Kindle with it. But, it needs electricity or a power supply to charge back up. It would be totally useless during a Zombie Apocalypse after charging one device. It would suffice as a rechargeable flashlight. But, do not depend on the solar panel to recharge it! I bought three. I had rather have $100 i spent instead.
