Good price and works
Overall, this does what it needs to do and notifies if there is any voltage. I think for the item, it is a great price. I will say, I would check the wires multiple times and would randomly get a reading 1 out of maybe 20 checks of the wire (my paranoia required I check multiple times before touch any of the wires when working), so that is the only reason I give 4/5 stars. Ultimately, though, I would highly reccommend the product as a voltage tester

Handy tool for DIYers
If you do any type of rewiring in your house, this is a great tool to have. I was swapping out the old outlets in my house for ones with USB outlets and normal power plugs. Unfortunately, the fuse box labels in my house were not the best when it came to deciphering which areas would have power and which wouldn't. This little tool made that really easy to figure out because I was able to turn off a fuse and go check if the plug I was going to switch out had power or not. I was also able to figure out that one of the vent fans in the laundry room did not have power going to it when the switch was on. The switch had power, but it was interrupted somewhere. So that helped me fix the vent a lot faster knowing what the problem was.I haven't had an issue with the tester being wrong yet.

Voltage detector
The voltage detector that I received matches it description. This is the second non-contact detector that I have tried and this one work fairly well. The high sensitivity mode is very sensitive and is warning me if there is any close by electric fields. The low sensitivity also works, but it is not as sensitive and it wasn't always beeping when I was touching a live 110v A/C wires. I would want to always test a hot wire with a contact voltage meter just to always be safe.
