Dihl 30L Onyx Chrome with Black Lid Stainless Steel Auto Touchless Hands-Free Sensor Kitchen Waste Dust Bin Automatic Motor

Good useful bin and still on the original batteries six months in

This is my second Dihl sensor kitchen bin. I've had the first one for 5 years and it's still working! I've bought a second one as I need a smaller bin for my new apartment whilst keeping the first one in other house.

I have had DIHL products previously, they dont disappoint. They look good and are well made. My last bin lasted for a few years.

Our old bin with the foot pedal was a nightmare to use. Clanging lid really put me off even using it. Having the automatic lid and the ease of emptying is an absolute boon. Actually a pleasure to throw stuff away nowadays, I find myself throwing things away just for the pleasure of using the bin. I even tried chucking the girlfriend in it but unfortunately they aren't quite big enough for that. One of the neighbours has recently hired a skip though so there are alternative options available.

Don't have it near a door otherwise it keeps opening and closing

I have had one previously and I had no reason for complaints. However, my darling granddaughters were so fascinated by the automatic lid it has eventually given up. Pretty good going really. So it was with no questions that I should purchase another Dihl sensor bin. I love them so easy to dispense rubbish with just a movement near the lid. And no worry thinking did I close the lid? I love the compact sleek design as it fits into a small space without looking obtrusive. I cannot praise this bin enough.
